Did anyone actually receive what is pictured (Black & Decker)?** A: Yes i ordered the B&D, and received the B&D model BC15B. I had a West Marine brand, identical unit except color. Both worked good, but the WEst Marine brand held the battery at EXACTLY 13.4 volts, on the charger year round when not using the boat, etc., which is where the battery should be held for its longest life. The Black and Decker would bring up to 134. but then let it trickle down over a day or so to 12.6v when it would kick on again. Not quite as good for the battery longevity, but i will keep it, just get a West Marine next time. **Q: Will this fully charge a completely drained car battery?** A: Nope it will not charge a completely dead battery. Finally got an email from the tech people and was told it has to have 2.4 volts to charge. So did a test and yep when it dropped to 1.9 it quit charging. Engineers? Hooked up my 10 yr + charger and it charged up fine **Q: Can you use it on two deep cycle batteries hooked in parallel?** A: From an engineer: Originally Answered: Can I connect 200ah, 100ah and 80ah batteries together in parallel and charge them? If you are talking about lead acid batteries the answer is yes. The state of charge is indicated by the terminal voltage and since they are in parallel this must be the same for each battery. So the charger will continue until all batteries are charged. Another way of looking at it is that the plates of the batteries are all basically the same and those in separate batteries are effectively just the same as a larger area of plates in a single container/battery. **Q: What's the warranty?** A: Warranted for one (1) years from date of purchase. Great customer service and very efficient with taking care of issues ### ⭐ Does not work *by T***. on August 10, 2019* I purchased the BC25BD (25 amp version) of this product on July 3 2019. It is now August 10 2019. I've attempted to use it to charge 3 different batteries (2 automotive, 1 ATV) and it exhibits the exact same behavior every time. When you first attach the clamps to the positive and negative terminals on the battery, it will not display the existing charge on the battery even though the LCD lights up. Press the charge button and the battery charger's fan will begin running. The LCD will show that it is using a varying degree of amperage (depending on battery) and display that it is charging the battery; it will run for about 2 to 5 minutes; then, it will stop charging and display a warning symbol that something is wrong with the battery (not FLO, just warning/caution symbol ). I have attempted using normal charging and battery reconditioning (thinking that something was wrong with the battery the first time I saw this issue, i let it recondition for 24 hours.) My advice? Do not buy this from Black & Decker. Prior to this experience I thought B&D was a respectable name. After looking at some of the other 1 star reviews I can see that this issue is not unique to me. I won't be buying B&D products anymore. Update to this review: I bought a Schumacher SC1308 and it worked great. The three batteries I mentioned in this review are still going strong today because the Schumacher was able to de-sulfate them and charge them. They cost the same so I would advise just getting the Schumacher.
