I doubt it’s fancy enough to be a manufacturer brand. You can probably buy a dozen of the same unit with different names. It’s not like it’s a Seiko or Rolex **Q: What is the meaning of dial theckess?** A: It is the actual thickness of the dial (the thing with the numbers 1-12 on it). If your dial is wood it may be thick and need a clock that has a high dial thickness, if it is like cardboard it would use a thinner dial thickness. **Q: How does the minute hand attach? My unit has a minute hand that has a narrow rectangular opening that doesn’t fit any portion of shaft?** A: The specific model number I bought has a rounded-corner, rectangular shaft for the minute hand. It protrudes out from the hour hand spindle. When the unit is shipped, it has the little knurled brass retaining ring that secures the minute hand installed that you have to carefully unscrew and remove first, then you should see the rectangular minute hand shaft. Press on your minute hand and reinstall the little brass ring. Then press the second hand into the spindle. **Q: what are the physical dimensions of the unit please? Seems like such an obvious question that it would be listed.** A: The size is 2 l/4" by 2 1/4".
