It is robust and easy to clean, and feels pleasant to walk around with, especially with the smooth and wide strap. I have not had any issues with leaking or items cooling too quickly; although, if you stack above the liner, you might run into issues (you might run into issues closing it at that point, though). I love the hardy snap closure, and how it expands to accommodate odd filling structures. The back pocket is nice for tucking a paper towel or hankie and a cutlery set. It is very well put together, good quality; I love that the red and green avoids looking like Christmas, too. It was a good value for the money and I would recommend it.

**Q: Is it machine washable?**
A: The instructions say to wash it with ordinary water temperature but do not dry in dryer, but to hang dry. It seems best to wash carefully by hand as needed. I would not put it through the washing machine to clean. If you do it may severely damage it.
