I actually use for Deer hunting because I actually have a great hunting blind nestled into a large stone pit. Sounds crazy but it works. Was really attracted to this because of the very thick pad needed for sitting on uneven stones. It works great!! VERY thick pad which is the best part about this bag/pack. Ultimately I look at this as a mobile pad/seat that you where on your back that also has compartments for small items needed for an all day hunt, and it also has a large sack/bag attached on the back. All the pieces easily clip on or off. The straps themselves are clearly pretty cheap and not padded at all but SO FAR have not given me any concern that they will fail. No padding at all on the straps, but not carrying heavy weight and stone blind I use this for is only 15 minute walk, so not an issue for my particular needs for this setup. That really is my only complaint of this product, but I am clearly not using this for it's intended purpose. Took a gamble that it would work for this unconventional hunting blind and it hit the mark perfectly.
