Review: Really Nice, Don’t listen to the bad reviews. - Hoover wind tunnel 3, Max Pet has most all of the features I wanted in an upright vacuum. The most important features were: one that would fluff up the carpet, and was heavy enough it would stay in place when using the hose. A bagless that was easy to take apart and put back together. And a big enough dust bin that I didn’t have to empty it after vacuuming every room. This one has 12 amps that gives it plenty of power and the suction doesn’t diminish as the dirt tank fills up. It’s got a pedal to turn off the roller/beater bar, so it will vacuum hard floors without spitting dust around the floor. I wanted to mention that it DIDN’T suck itself to the floor like a couple of reviews says it does. There is a dial to adjust the height. The 30 ft cord is the longest cord I’ve ever had on a vacuum. It’s bagless with a large bin. 1.5 liter. Not the biggest bin Hoover makes. But the biggest one I could find with the roller/beater bar control pedal. We have 2 hairy dogs, I vacuumed 4 large rooms and still had room for more dirt. It’s fairly easy to push, for what it is. It’s a monster vacuum weighing 18lbs. Great news, it rolls easier than I expected it would. Again, it has adjustable height, so when it seemed hard to push, I raised it up one notch. There’s a 15’ hose. With an extendable wand that disappointingly isn’t quite long enough to use on the floor without bending over. But, I’m using a longer wand from another vacuum. So, It’s not a deal breaker for me. The clear plastic does show all the dirt though. Someone like me, going from a bagged version to a bagless version might not be used to seeing all the dirt and dog hair flying around. Although it was something we were all watching at first. Theres no bags to buy but the trade off is washing the dust bin. It’s got a hepa and charcoal filter, that cannot be washed, but they don’t need replaced very often according to the directions. And it’s got a washable dirt filter that’s a flat sponge like thing. So it will be easy to wash, but It wasn’t dirty at all, so I didn’t have to wash it this time. The reviews said it was too loud? It sounds normal to me. Yes, it’s noisy, but not as loud as I thought it was going to be. The reviews said it’s hard to push the release pedal. But this one is so easy I was using it barefoot. The reviews said it was hard to take apart. But this is the easiest vacuum to take apart. A couple of reviews said they received s different model, so I double checked on the box before opening. I received exactly what I ordered. I believe the reviews must have been for a different vacuum even though they were shown under this model. Review: Powerful suction - We love the high suction from this product, we had to change the dirt chamber several times because it picked up all the dog dander & shedding from our dogs. All the attachments were extremely helpful. We especially like the pet stair attachment. The ceiling fan blade brush is great!!! I don't think our ceiling fan have ever been cleaned! Its a bit heavy, when taking the product upstairs, but is very powerful as our household item! Great value for our money. Its not to big, however the extra long cord helps with cleaning one one all at once. Its perfect! ## Features - THOROUGH CLEANING POWER: The Hoover WindTunnel 3 Max Performance Pet provides our most powerful clean. Its advanced suction technology ensures even the most stubborn debris is effortlessly trapped, leaving your floors spotless. - OPTIMIZED CLEAN: The QuickPass brush roll cleans surface debris 2X faster with fewer passes over the same area. The 30-foot cord provides ample reach for cleaning large rooms without replugging. - VERSATILE TOOLS: Clean beyond your floors and target multiple surfaces, hard-to-reach areas and pet messes with the included pet turbo tool, pivoting dusting tool, telescoping extension wand and crevice tool. - EFFECTIVE FILTRATION: With 13 powerful cyclones combined with WindTunnel 3 technology to lift and remove surface debris, pet hair and embedded dirt and an odor-trapping HEPA filter, this vacuum is perfect for houses with pets and kids. - NOBODY DOES IT LIKE YOU: For more than 100 years, Hoover has designed powerful, reliable, easy-to-use products that clean your entire home from floor to ceiling. It's why we're one of the most trusted brands in America. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B07MFM81RX | | Best Sellers Rank | #73,652 in Home & Kitchen ( See Top 100 in Home & Kitchen ) #36 in Upright Vacuum Cleaners | | Brand | Hoover | | Brand Name | Hoover | | Capacity | 1.42 liters | | Color | Red | | Connectivity Technology | wired | | Control Method | Touch | | Controller Type | Push Button | | Customer Reviews | 4.1 out of 5 stars 7,527 Reviews | | Filter Type | HEPA Filter | | Form Factor | Upright | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00073502045589 | | Included Components | Crevice Tool, HEPA Filter, Nozzle | | Indoor Outdoor Usage | Indoor | | Item Dimensions L x W x H | 13"L x 15"W x 44"H | | Item Type Name | Hoover WindTunnel 3 Max Performance Pet Upright Vacuum Cleaner, HEPA Media Filtration and Powerful Suction for Pet Hair, UH72625 | | Item Weight | 7.3 pounds | | Manufacturer | Hoover | | Model Name | Max Performance Pet | | Model Number | UH72625 | | Noise Level | 80 db | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Power Levels | 1 | | Number of Speeds | 1 | | Number of Wheels | 4 | | Other Special Features of the Product | Bagless | | Power Source | Corded Electric | | Recommended Uses For Product | Carpet, Hard Floor, Home | | Special Feature | Bagless | | Style Name | Max Performance Pet | | Surface Recommendation | Hard Floor, Carpet | | UPC | 073502045589 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Voltage | 110 volts | | Wattage | 1200 watts | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Hoover - **Filter Type:** HEPA Filter - **Power Source:** Corded Electric - **Special Feature:** Bagless - **Surface Recommendation:** Hard Floor, Carpet ## Images ![Hoover WindTunnel 3 Max Performance Pet Bagless Vacuum Cleaner - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81VzbgSlG1L.jpg) ![Hoover WindTunnel 3 Max Performance Pet Bagless Vacuum Cleaner - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/A1h3k95DSHL.jpg) ![Hoover WindTunnel 3 Max Performance Pet Bagless Vacuum Cleaner - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/91V0clpBYJL.jpg) ![Hoover WindTunnel 3 Max Performance Pet Bagless Vacuum Cleaner - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81zN9k1WYbL.jpg) ![Hoover WindTunnel 3 Max Performance Pet Bagless Vacuum Cleaner - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71mstb4sH7L.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Style** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Has anyone recived the wrong model windtunnel 3 in box? still waiting to hear from hoover. this happen twice, anyone eles?** A: This seems to still be an issue even in near December. I received the UH72600W model instead of UH72625. I'm betting a lot of people have received the incorrect models, but do not realize it. It's odd that the Hoover webpage does not even show this model too. Regardless, I received a WindTunnel model, and not WindTunnel 3. And unless this product page has been repurposed, then from the images a few people have given that have indicated liking this product and have not indicated that they received the incorrect product have actually also received the incorrect product and are not aware of it. Ignorance is good for business, eh? **Q: Will this vacuum suck up parrot food and brokenbird toys?** A: Not on hardwood floors...it will spit the parrot’s food and broken toys right back on the floor in a wide sweeping pattern. **Q: Brush size** A: Brush part number 304094004 14" Cleaning Path 15 Inches **Q: How gentle is it for area rugs and floors?** A: I think it's great. Vacuum has ability to turn off roller brush for hard floors. On the Carpet it moves smooth with lots of power. Length of power cord is longer than others. Best vacuum I've bought in a long time ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Really Nice, Don’t listen to the bad reviews. *by M***E on April 20, 2022* Hoover wind tunnel 3, Max Pet has most all of the features I wanted in an upright vacuum. Its perfect! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ update not as good as the old version, but still a good vacuum for the price *by C***N on May 1, 2024* I loved few things as much as I loved my Max Performance Pet vacuum from Hoover. what a workhorse, and after 3-4 years, still has the suction of a hull breach in deep space. but Monday, it randomly shut off mid-clean, and remained dead. as amazing as my vacuum was, I wanted to replace it with the same model. Hoover has, unfortunately, made some..... "upgrades" to the model. first and foremost, you can no longer turn off the brush roller. I kind of hate that, because when you go over non-carpet floors, the roller has a tendency to spit particulate matter out behind the vacuum. I took a star off for that. secondly... reduced mumber of height positions. more variability is always desirable, but this change wasn't impactful enough to cost it a start. but lastly... it is, sadly, not as strong as before. my old vacuum has such powerful suction that on its lowest bare floor position, it would become almost difficult to move. (maybe the always-on roller is affecting this) no such issue with this update. I genuinely feel like I've lost 20% of the cleaning power, which is disappointing, as my old vacuum deep cleaned my hall runners to the point they looked brand new. while I was able to get them satisfactorily clean, it did take a few more passes. not a deal breaker -- so far -- but I won't be able to make a full assessment until one of my cats graciously provides me with some dried vomit. so in summation: Hoover has unfortunately away with some of the nice features of the older version, and suction is not quite as powerful as before. however, if you haven't owned an older version, you won't know to miss these features. still a solid choice, with enough suction to adequately clean up after the hair and dust generated by three cats (vomit performance, pending). can't bring myself to give it 5 stars though, just because the older version was *so amazing*, and I do feel let down. HOOVER: IF IT AIN'T BROKE, DON'T FIX IT!!! 😠 ## Frequently Bought Together - Hoover WindTunnel 3 Max Performance Pet Bagless Vacuum Cleaner, Corded Upright Vac, HEPA Media Filtration, Quick Pass Brushroll, Corded Vacuum Cleaners for Home Use - JEDELEOS Replacement Flat Non-Stretch Belts for Hoover WindTunnel 3 Pro Pet Upright Vacuum Model UH72625, UH72630, UH72635, UH70930, UH70935, UH70936, UH70937 and UH70939 Series (Pack of 2) - Fette Filter - Filter Sets Compatible with Hoover Windtunnel Models UH72630PC, UH72635, UH72600W, UH72630, UH72615, UH72600, UH70831, UH72630 Part # 304087001 & 305687002 (2Sets) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co/products/105326807-hoover-windtunnel-3-max-performance-pet-bagless-vacuum-cleaner](https://www.desertcart.co/products/105326807-hoover-windtunnel-3-max-performance-pet-bagless-vacuum-cleaner) --- *Product available on Desertcart Colombia* *Store origin: CO* *Last updated: 2026-10-14*
