Review: Just what we were looking for. - We ordered 6 of these bar stools for use throughout our home. We placed 2 at a 44" kitchen island counter top bar, 3 at a 38" bar, and 1 by an Arcade1Up machine (roughly 34") and they fit perfectly at each of those spots. The bar stools are super easy to assemble. They took longer to take out of the box and unwrap than put together. Speaking of which, the bar stools came well wrapped and protected. One of the boxes had a fairly big hole on one side, but the bar stools themselves were undamaged. Each one is very well made with no problems adjusting their height (not cross threaded). There's a bit more gray in seats than I expected, which I personally enjoy as it gives them a bit more character. We've had multiple get together's in the house and our visitors sat comfortably and spun around freely in them. I can see them lasting in our home for years to come. They look just as presented and work just as described. A word of caution that only adults should use them when set at a taller seating height. They can sit very high and a small child, or even an early teen could fall off as it does not have a supporting frame for one's back. But this is the look we were after and couldn't be happier with them. Great looking bar stools at a very nice price.
