I know this about myself. I was just sized for my wedding ring and wear a loose 9 so I ordered the 8.5-9. It's very tight and when I tried to take it off, the inserted piece slipped off before the silicone piece. They're very nice and I'm happy with it and hope they will stretch a bit over time, but, I should have gone up a size due to the half sizes.
