Huge amount of tape..glad to know I don't have to be stingy with it!

I am so happy to find a good tape that WORKS!! I leave these reviews because I, (like so many others) depend on these reviews when ordering products online. I only use the tape for one thing, which is attaching my zipper to fabric before sewing. If you've worked with zippers, you know that no matter how much pinning or clipping you do, they can budge. Plus the pinning and clipping is so time consuming.. but this tape is THE ONLY WAY I'll make my zipper pouches. A little tip which I learned from my last brand of tape.. 1. Once I've cut my tape, I press down hard before removing the paper so the glue sticks down nicely before pulling up the paper. This way has never failed me!! Also, the amount that came for the price is WONDERFUL. Crafting/sewing is already expensive enough, and I can tell this will last awhile!

This tape made sewing hems with stretchy fabric easy. It holds the fabric in place beautifully, and washes away when laundered.

I was unaware these should be stored in airtight containers. They dry out after time and then do not stick at all. But, when fresh, I like using them to stabilize fabric prior to sewing, esp for zippers.

I use it when I sew fasteners while making bags. It makes the process so much easier and nice finishing. Three rolls are plenty and can use it generously. It doesn't stick to needles either.

This is a terrible product. It sticks to your fingers and itself, and that's about it. I gave it one star because I can reuse the ziplock bags they came in. Note: I use basting tape when making heavy duty nylon sporting goods. Various thicknesses, weaves and surface textures of sheet fabric nylon, webbings and tapes.

Nothing but a Happy review of this quilting tape! Compared to others this is the best choice. Easy to use. Washes out. Doesn't gum up sewing needles. Stays in place, yet easy to move around cpl times. Even holds up under quick press with hot iron not melting or separating from fabric. I tried this upon recommendation by other quilters and am so glad I did!

Where has this been all of my life? This is amazing! No more fussing with pins and clips that move the fabric around to the wrong position. I just cut off a piece of the tape from the roll and place it exactly where I need it. The first time I used it, I forgot to press it down harder on the fabric and when I went to peel off the paper, the tape came up. Once I pressed it down harder, the tape peeled off without any problem. It holds the fabric and zipper in place while I sew. I had no problem with a gummed up needle. It didn't more at all when I was sewing. It held on when I went from the table to the sewing machine. Excellent product that I will be buying regularly.

I wondered if this would be as good as the branded tape I use - which is much more costly. Well, I used it for the first time yesterday and I prefer this one. It's slightly narrower - which is an advantage for me, it's equally tacky and easy to remove the covering tape from. I believe it may also be thinner (not just narrower) because when I placed it between two thin cotton pieces and ironed it, there was no obvious placement mark - there is on the branded one. This probably doesn't matter where you use it and will wash it away, but it does mean there is no iron mark on the fabric where you aren't going to wash the item afterwards. For me this has proved to be an excellent choice and as it's an item I use often I shall buy another 3 in my next order.

The roll falls apart while using, so have to throw away a big part. Will not buy again
