Best UV epoxy
I had previously given the seller a bad review because I had not received my product but it was a USPS problem. Arrived late but was in good condition.

Made in the USA, so a bit expensive. Works great and very durable.
I really don't see a difference between this and other UV cure resins - it even has the same scent, just milder, than the cheap stuff. But the big difference is that it's made in the USA, and that's a requirement for many companies. It cures in sunlight in a couple of minutes and also cures with UV flashlights. I have several in the 395-405 range and all worked. Break a pole? Need to repair a lure? Add a few drops of this and put in the sun - instant repair. When using the product you want to be indoors or in as much shade as possible - once exposed to sunlight it begins to cure and you can ruin a bottle accidentally. It's about as viscous as warm syrup, so it pours easily and penetrates into small gaps and fibers. As long as light can reach it, it will cure. If you keep the open bottle out of the sun and away from UV light, this should last years. To test flexibility I created several beads ranging in width from 1/8" to 3/8", 3/32nds thick and 3 inches long. All could be flexed back and forth without breaking. They only broke when bent at an angle of 90 degrees or more at room temperature. The warmer they were the more flexible.

I love this resin, but I don't use it for tying flies! This is a versatile product.
I've never tried to fly in my life, but I always thought the process seemed so mesmerizing and a great escape from the stresses of the day. I have not taken fly tying up yet, as there is not any water here that I could really fish in, living in the desert and all. I watched a few videos where they were using this resin to create the flies, and I thought this could work wonderfully for my new hobby. This is a really lovely resin, although it does have a lot of tiny bubbles that tend to get locked inside. So I let it set for about 5 minutes or so, and then a lot of the bubbles came up, except for the super tiny ones. These needed to be scooped out instead. This whole process took about an extra 10 minutes total to be able to work out all the bubbles, but once they were worked out, it set beautifully. The dough itself is a lot thicker than the other residents I've been working with, which was kind of nice because it was able to take the mica powder easily and take the colors well. The bottle is a really good size. It has a really nice fine point at the end, so it's good for precision application. The tip itself was a little bit tricky to get used to because it was just the very end with a cap on it that didn't really have an easy way to grip it to remove it. That is the one thing about this I would happily change. However, this is a very small detail that is surely a personal preference. The only other thing about the bottle itself that I would like to see differently is the end of the bottle tip to have a little bit of a broader flat lot to be able to get the last little bits out and make it a little easier to store upside down. When you're using resin, one of the biggest things is getting the bubbles out, so by having it easier to store upside down, you're not needing to flip the bottle to be able to get it. Overall, though, I'm pretty happy with this product. The quality of the resin is absolutely wonderful; it is really quite thick and it doesn't take very long to cure. I haven't had any real complaints about it, and I've done a few pieces using this resin already. Because it's UV resin, it cures really quickly and it stays liquid until I'm ready for it to cure. It doesn't have a really strong odor at all, and it cleans up easily, so I'm quite happy with this product.

Cures Incredibly Fast
This resin comes in a black bottle for a reason: one flash of sunlight and it starts to cure. A little dab will do ya as they say -- as it doesn't take much to do the job. This company makes a lot of different resins and definitely has the chemistry down. Quality stuff and dries hard.

Fly Tyers Dream
Ive been fly tying professionally for 25 years. I make flies for many years and this is the top of the line when talking UV Resin. I am very pleased with how well this cures with no bubbles and stays translucent even after multiple fish have been caught. Definitely get this if you want to make some beautiful flies.

Cures quickly in the sun
This resin is great to take with you when you are out and about. The bottle is a small enough size you can put it in with your supplies and forget about it until you need it. I liked how quickly and well it cured while I was out on the trail and it is really durable. I won't go for a day run without it again!

Really great glue
Really handy for many purposes. It's a thin fluid, what when you expose to UV light it cures VERY quickly. Beyond using for things like tying flies I've used it to glue a broken pair of glasses for my wife, who was very happy for the quick fix.

Packed well, plenty of product but overly expensive
I ordered this to use in fly tying. The viscosity is definitely thinner then other resins I’ve used. The odor is about the same as others as well. Don’t bother with the nozzle. Use the top of a pin or your bodkin. Really, my biggest complaint is the price. It’s incredibly over priced for what it is. One item to consider is super/thin CA glue. It will dry quick with or without accelerator and it’s so much cheaper. This method works well for sealing but not building your a scud body or back of a nymph. The resin is the better way to go there. Overall I’m happy, but at the price I doubt I’ll buy this again.

The Solarez UV Cure Fly Tie Resin offers a versatile and effective solution for fly tying enthusiasts. Here's a detailed review of the product: 1. **Variety of Formulas:** One of the standout features of this product is the availability of three different formulas - Thin, Flex, and Thick. This variety allows users to choose the specific formula that best suits their needs, whether it's for creating a super-hard finish, a flexible coating, or for making thicker coatings or spheres. This adaptability is a huge plus for fly tyers with different preferences and projects. 2. **Thin, Hard Formula:** The Thin, Hard Formula is designed to provide a super-hard, scratch-resistant finish. This is crucial for fly tying, as durability is key to ensuring that the finished flies maintain their form and effectiveness over time. The fact that it dries exceptionally dry without any tackiness is a significant advantage over some other UV cure resins on the market. 3. **F-L-E-X Formula:** This formula is specially designed for flexibility, making it ideal for swimmers and parts that require some give. Additionally, it can be used for wader repair, showcasing the product's versatility beyond just fly tying applications. This adds an extra layer of utility to the product. 4. **Thick, Hard Formula:** The Thick, Hard Formula's high viscosity is a valuable attribute for creating thicker coatings or spheres. This is particularly useful for building up bodies, heads, or eyes on flies. Having a resin that can effectively handle these tasks is a major benefit for fly tyers looking to create intricate and detailed patterns. 5. **Exceptionally Dry Cure:** The claim that this resin cures exceptionally dry, as opposed to leaving a tacky finish, is a significant advantage. Tacky finishes can be problematic as they may attract dirt and debris, potentially affecting the fly's performance. With Solarez, users can have confidence in a clean, dry cure. In summary, the Solarez UV Cure Fly Tie Resin appears to be a highly versatile and effective product for fly tying enthusiasts. Its range of formulas caters to various tying needs, from achieving a super-hard finish to providing flexibility or creating thicker coatings. Additionally, the promise of an exceptionally dry cure sets it apart from other UV cure resins. Overall, this product seems like a valuable addition to any fly tyer's toolkit.

This product really is the top stuff and a get what you pay for product. The quality is fantastic and very easy to apply. Although this hasn't been used for intended fishing products, I have used it to fix up resin printed products and its been a god send. Needs a quick cure under UV light but the finish on it it glassy and seamless. Perfect product!

Resin for tying flies and more, as well as small objects or objects that you need quickly and efficiently to glue and give them a special shine. Many opinions are negative about this product, but as I always say, better to see the glass half full. The inconvenient size of this tube can be an advantage because it is easy to store in the fishing kit and is always at hand. Being more of a glue for small items, the size of the tube becomes an advantage as it is easy to use and maneuver in such a way that you do not touch the viscous liquid. I wouldn't say that I save a lot of time using this resin but if I leave it directly to the UV rays then it becomes extremely strong and gives me that quality that I need. I am satisfied with the product received and the fast delivery that was made. Also I’m using it for repair the fishing rods , especially the rings where if it has some scratches, then it can easily cut the fishing line and you will lost your rigs or lures which prices are sometimes very high if you buy expensive and branded stuff 🤷🏻♂️

It's great that you can purchase it like this in large quantities so it should last a long time , I like that it is thin and easy to apply , great that it cures quickly too with uv light , no bad odours and it's a great product that should keep me, my brother and son supplied for a while , I'll definitely consider purchasing more of this in the future now too. A great product. 🎣
