Excellent texture and flavor. I ordered the chocolate peanut butter and it’s genuinely impressive. The flavor is smooth and balanced, with no artificial aftertaste. I’m autistic and am what’s searching for the Goldilocks of protein powders. This is it. Mixes perfectly; no lumps. No chalky consistency. No weird aftertaste. The flavor is a great balance of chocolate and peanut butter without being too sweet. I personally find the consistency to be just right but it’s easy to make a shake thinner or thicker by throttling how much liquid you add. This stuff is extremely gentle on the stomach too. It’s as good as protein powder gets. It also makes AMAZING ice cream too if you’re into making protein ice creams.

One of my favorite protein powders. Great flavor and quality. Mixes well with water (sometimes I add a little almond milk for extra calcium). My favorite flavor is chocolate peanut butter.

This protein was recommended to me by Dr. Peter Attia on social media after I tried other brands to good results since I’m a very active athlete. I instantly loved the flavor (Chocolate Peanut Butter) as it was delicious and the protein mixed so well with water and my collagen protein powder that I was really impressed. What I was not pleased with was that packaging couldn’t fully close once opened, so I had to place the protein bag inside of a larger zip lock bag. I was actually prepared for this as I read numerous other reviews from other customers. It’s really a shame because this is easily a 5 star product. If you’re looking for a really clean, high quality protein this is definitely something I would recommend that tastes great.

Blend with soy milk, frozen banana and a tablespoon of peanut butter. Sooo good!

I have tried many different brands of proteins. All varied in quality and it's constituent parts. At the end of the day, Ascent is, hands down, the best protein powder I've ever used. I've been on my fitness journey for a number of years and, for me, this protein works incredibly well. They pride themselves on quality ingredients with no filler or artificial/synthetic ingredients. And the price is pretty amazing for what you are getting. Vitamin Shoppe has the 2 lb bags for $33...if you like shopping local. They finally came out with chocolate peanut butter - which tastes just like a Recee's cup. Usually when I drink something sweet post workout, it makes me seriously sick to my stomach. With Ascent, I don't have that issue. It isn't overly sweet at all. I mix mine with water and have no complaints. The quality and flavour are very consistent with the Chocolate and the Chocolate/Peanut Butter. If you are looking to try a new protein, I would definitely recommend this. You can also get singles to sample if you don't want to shell out full price for a 2 lb bag.
