It's just as described. I went with the 28-inch duffle and also picked up the Amazon Basics medium-sized packing cubes. I was surprised at how much I could fit, six cubes in the top compartment, which can hold about 12 outfits if you pack two full outfits per cube. Plus, I can lay six more cubes flat on the bottom tier, perfect for thicker jackets, shoes, or bulkier items. I even managed to fit a foldable duffle inside for souvenirs or extra space if needed. The two side pockets are pretty roomy too. You can easily fit a nice-sized toiletry bag with some extra room to spare. I plan to use those pockets for chargers and other quick-access items. Overall, I think it’s a great bag—it holds a lot and feels well-made. Just a heads-up, the fabric used for dividing the sections is pretty thin and doesn’t stretch much, so it could tear if you’re not careful. Also, if you’re trying to stand it upright with the handle out, it doesn’t do that very well—it’s a bit top-heavy and will topple over. But overall, I’m really happy with it!

The size is perfect to fit my yoga mat in the hardshell side. This case offers ample room. The zippers move smoothly and have locking capabilities. The wheels feel solid and roll easily. The material feels durable. The handle retracts and is comfortable to hold. It's easy to use. I like the 2 extra pockets on the top and bottom of the duffel case. It's lightweight yet sturdy. It's a sleek and streamlined check bag. I'm pleased with my purchase. Samsonite offers it in different colors. The price point is decent.

This is my second identical bag. The 5 star reviews are correct, and the 1 star reviews are also correct. This is not a durable bag, but it is an awesome bag for travelling. Years ago our first one popped a seam on day 1 when we packed (over-packed?) it, and then it wore a hole through the material in a shockingly short amount of time. We sewed up the torn stitch and put a patch on the worn spot, and it became a worthy travel companion. We love it so much, I just bought a second one because nothing compares to it for utility and affordability. The bottom "tray" is perfect for packing for a longer trip: instead of having a bottomless duffel bag, you can strategically back the lower part and then fill up the top part separately. Much better than excavating for your underwear or socks at every new destination along your journey. I specifically insisted on a roller duffel because trying to fit a hard sided suitcase in the trunk of a rental car is a nightmare compared to tossing this thing in the back. It's also great for wheeling around cobblestone roads with its big wheels. I highly recommend this bag, but if you want/need the quality of a bag twice the price, then go ahead and spend twice the price on something else. In fact I think Samsonite themselves sells a similar bag for twice the price that is a bit more robust, so go for it.

DO NOT BUY THIS SAMSONITE BAG! I have owned several pieces of Samsonite luggage and never would I have suspected such an inferior product was sold by what I've know to be a quality producing company. I purchased this bag in July with the intention of using it immediately for a trip and didn't use it. I used it for the first time 3 weeks ago over the Thanksgiving Holiday. It didn't even survive the first leg of the trip. The material is not strong enough to withstand the airline handling process. It ripped along the seams as well as where there were not seams to separate. Proving it wasn't an inadequate sewing process, but rather inferior materials. It does not have adequate straps for lifting a bag of this size without putting too much stress on one strap. I'm sure this too would have given out....If the bag would have survived for additional trips. I feel like I wasted $80 bucks on a piece of crap luggage with what "was" a reputable company's name printed on it. I will never buy another piece of luggage from Samsonite. Since I didn't use it for the first time for nearly 6 months after I purchased it. I cannot request a refund. I read the reviews before purchasing it and they were mixed, but I trusted the "SAMSONITE" brand and purchased it anyway. Don't make the same mistake I made...Choose another bag.

I purchased this from the Amazon Warehouse for half the regular price so, I feel I got good piece of luggage for the money. If I had paid full price I would be upset. The bad: It will not stand on its end unless it is FULLY packed so the shape retains rigidity. The bottom end (when it is standing) has no reinforcement to retain its shape or prevent damage from sliding/skidding on the ground. Mine had 2 wear holes in it after 1 flight. The zippers have not broken yet but absolutely feel like they will after a few months of travel and constant use. Also, there is no handle on the side you actuality need one. The good: Amazon Warehouse price was right. $43 It looks nice It collapses down pretty flat, so keeping it in your closet when not in use isn't bad. You can fill it with a ton of stuff. In the end I wouldn't recommend paying full price. If you travel constantly don't buy this. If you only use a suitcase once and a while, it's ok. I'm going to buy an OGIO next. They have a lifetime warranty and the rigid back and base structure can take a beating. They just cost significantly more.
