So far as an EDC it's been great
This is my first experience with this brand, and I know the name and reviews are wonderful and I can't stand a cheap knife I can't trust, so I typically spend a little more for the quality. Thus far as my EDC, it's been solid. The lock feature on this is definitely the best feature, but it does take a little getting used to if you're going to one hand open and close, but very doable. Sharp, durable blade for everything I've used it for, but I haven't really put it through heck just yet. It is a big knife for EDC, but I'm not a small guy, and it fits just fine hanging on my pocket, it just rides further into the pocket than my usual EDC which is a more standard size carry. It's been a good knife and I'll update this if that changes.

This is a very nice piece of equipment!
This knife is extremely solid, and very well constructed. At first I thought it might be too long for EDC, but the location of the clip allows it to sit very deep in the pocket. I like the blade design, and have used it it almost daily as a cutting tool. You get a lot of knife for the money. I am quite happy with my purchase.

Big Hard Use Folder
I ordered this knife for use on duty as a LEO. It's large, such that it will still feel large in large hands. It is easy to hold (manipulate/open/close) even when wearing gloves, and it came with a razor edge that has lasted awhile without needing to be sharpened. For about $100, I have not found many knives that handle abuse like this. I've had mine for several months and still enjoy it. I went with all-black because I liked the partial serration and I work during the night. As someone with more knowledge than average of knives, someone who carries a knife at all times, and someone who owns entirely too many knives, this knife was an easy 5/5 rating for real EDC. For those of you who simply collect knives and don't really use them to their potential, this may not be for you. In my experience, truly tactical or hard-use knives are not pretty. They are not smooth and sleek. They are chunky, will not slip from your hands, and lock up so tight they seem like fixed blade knives. If you want that, this is the knife for you. If you're looking for smooth, sleek, and pretty then look elsewhere. This one is for go rather than show, folks.

Another Great CRKT Knife.
I have long appreciated the value and craftsmanship of CRKT. I have many examples of their knives in my collection. This knife is another fine example and a welcome addition. It meets the high standards of materials and workmanship that people buy the CRKT brand for. So, why 4 stars? Because it is designed to be a deep pocket carry knife and trying to draw it out of the corner of your front pants pocket is anything but convenient or smooth. You could pull your pants pocket up into you armpit and still not get the knife free of your pants. I don't understand why more thought is not put into this aspect of the knife's design. It's not that all CRKT Knives have this problem. I own the Jumbones and the Hissatsu and both of these knives draw like a dream. Personally I took the clip off the knife and I carry it in a sheath on my belt.

TOUGH, BIG & Gorgeous!!
I love large “over-built” (no such thing😎) knives, and this one is awesome! So it might not boast a “high-end” steel, but to me this knife is worth every penny. After some fidgeting and using, the action is superb as well. The Deadbolt lock is tough, and the blade is straight up beautiful! I have other large, even more expensive models of similar size, and the CRKT Seismic is among my favorite. For those having any difficulties with either the action or lock, just add a couple of drops of knife lube and it breaks in wonderfully!

"The Last Knife You'll Ever Carry"
This knife grows on you. The grip seems knife-edged, but your hand quickly learns that if you hold it right, it gets grippy and comfortable and you can deploy it and close it in almost the same grip, to the frequency of a butterfly knife. Very satisfying! I bought this and a CRKT Assisted opener 3x the cost. I like deploying (and especially closing) this knife more. I bought the black on black with the veff serations. The groves on the blade and hilt are logically placed. The deadbolt is bigger than the now smaller deadbolts on other big knives like this and I feel like bigger is more secure. The entire knife looks and feels more contoured. The style is for sure slick. I feel this could be a good knife to be stuck in the New World with, if it ever goes to tihs, hence the title of this review. ;] The bang for your buck is unreal and I feel like they lost money on this deal. Thanks, CRKT! This one is a Gold Medalist for sure.

It's an awesome knife!!
I've always wanted to get this knife ever since It came out and now I have it and I love it small problem though is that the belt clip broke on me and I had to remove it but other than that its an awesome knife came it extremely sharp and the opening and closing is really smooth!

Came apart
It open easy. It was nice until the button fell out. The whole knife came apart. Do not buy this knife.
