Volume control doesn’t work at all.

This cable is terrible. I bought it to have the inline mic, and it absolutely wasn't worth it. The signal distorts at ANY volume level that my oem cable has no issues with what so ever. If I were you, I wouldn't bother

They don't hold up well, but we keep buying them because the Bose brand don't hold up any better. We buy one every 3-4 months. They're cheap enough so it doesn't bother us too much, just beware you will have to replace them again. We haven't found a better alternative, till we do we'll just keep buying these.

The mic works but the audio does not, right out of the packaging

Receiver end was unusually snug but did squeeze into the Bose AE2 headphones but stopped working after 2 month of gentle use at work. Definitely a cheap off brand replacement that isn't worth the money.
