Doing a great job after 6 months.
I have had a few inverters and this one by far is the most quiet and I find the remote very useful. Decent length of cable to. The build quality of the unit seems substantial and quite heavy, suggesting quality components. time will tell of course but I fully expect this to last. Plugs even fit into it well which sounds daft saying it, but many I have had have very 'sticky' sockets, for want of a better description. I do not have an oscilloscope so can't test to the sine wave quality but the buzz and hum induced in my computer from my old one, is gone. I haven't heard the fan switch on yet but I am using it at only 30-40% capacity, so wouldn't expect the fan to come on. Very little heat is generated which is excellent. I should have done an efficiency and max load test upon arrival but didn't. NOTE: This is my second unit however, the first was sent back as a precautionary measure because it had a strong smell of fried electronics upon opening the box. May have been nothing but the replacement smelt like new gear. No problem with refund either through Amazon. Hope this helps.

4 yrs of heavy use and still works as new.
Very impressed. Had it for 4 years now in my camper running a Dometic 230V compressor fridge for 8-12 hrs per day for roughly 60 days a year. Also have a 230V plug socket charging my laptop and camera so a fair bit going through it sometimes. I'd say that's unbelievable performance and value. Still working fine now.

Very good inverter.
I bought this Novopal 1500w 12v inverter for my van. Installation is simple. And yes it does work well. I use it for many appliances in my van including a HENRY 1200w vacuum cleaner, Drills, 900w grinders... Etc. No issues in about a year of moderate use. My only regret, not buying a more powerful unit. I will eventually put this in my car and a bigger 3000w in the van in future. I will be happy to buy another Novopal inverter.

No Short circuit protection
This inverter clearly states it has short circuit protection but has not. I conducted testing on 2 of these Novopals and they both failed with one catching fire. The company said the short circuit protection would only protect the device if it was on load at the time of the short circuit? That I think you will find this is BS. I simulated a shot circuit fault in the cable as this is a real life scenario should a cable become trapped or pinched causing a short between positive and negative I.e short circuit then unknowingly been plugged in. The inverter failed and stopped working after making buzzing noises and in one case fire. None if the internal fuses blow so they must just be for show?? I videoed the hole test along side the identical test on a cheap inverter. The cheap one passes with flying colours and tripped out as described in the short circuit protection instruction section of the manual but Novopal failed miserably i’m conflicted with the instructions notion of short circuit protection. The companies only response was that they would change the instructions and I assume this is to indicate that there is no short circuit protection as previously stated??? I don’t know because they didn’t clarify what they were going to change on the instructions however they did not agree to change the feature of short-circuit protection, By this I mean actually applied as a functional piece of technology that protects the unit from Short circuit protection. Buyers beware, Novopal is on the face of it a decent inverter that delivers the power it advertises but if you can’t trust the protection in it or whether or not It’ll catch fire during short-circuit then I would steer clear.

It works. Replacing fuses needs the unit to be opened
The inverter works, which is the most important thing. I can't speak as to the shape of the wave so I can only hope it's a pure sine-wave under all circumstances. The battery plus are of M6 size and the screws to mount the inverter are included. In the package they provide a generous amount of spare fuses (4, to be precise), however the fuses are not accessible from outside the inverter, which must therefore be opened in case the fuse blows. This is very important to know, as it means that should the fuse blow you will need to open the inverter. The device, according to the manual, offers an added protection working on the ground wire: when there's dispersion towards the ground wire, the power is disconnected and the inverter needs to be turned off and on in order to resume working. This is meant to protect a user from electrocution, although it must be said that this kind of protection is very basic and nowhere near an RCD device. I would recommend to pair this device with an RCD device for added protection. My setup is for a solar powered shed, so I will accompany a consumer unit containing the RCD for safety, but there are versions that plug directly into a standard UK power outlet, so you don't need to get as fancy.

Very useful for a motorhome
Great for Motorhomes, good size, quiet and powerful enough to run an air conditioner ( not for long though, depending on your batteries).

Good product
Works great in my truck, runs a 800w microwave an electric kettle tv and firestick (not all at same time) won’t let me run my truck while in use though, Probably to much voltage going in, remote switch is a good idea, inverter in out side locker of lorry and remote switch in the cab so you can switch it off when not in use. Would be lost without it now to be honest.

L’inverter purtroppo va spesso in allarme seppure la batteria è ancora ben carica. Inoltre non regge carichi superiori ai 1000w . Peccato, considerando il tempo che ci è voluto ad installarlo.

Doesn’t run anything more than a fan or an LED strip, a 175w vacuum triggers reset... received a warranty replacement (customer service is ok) only to realize Ive wasted another $50 for shipping.. as the new unit doesnt work. Its either they cannot make inverters or these dont work with LifePo4 batteries, a friend of mine has the same system with a different inverter and has no issues.. I have two systems with the same Lifepo4 300ah banks, never had a problem..
