This device is great! Very easy to use and super quick reads from all the animals I scanned. I recently purchased some Fi Nano microchips to use on an upcoming puppy litter so I wanted to be sure they were implanted properly and activated of course! I also used it to check on four chips that were implanted by vets over the last 12 years, all of which read perfectly with no issues from four different microchip companies. I was also able to figure out that one of my microchips wasn’t ever registered by the rescue we adopted from since the paperwork was never turned in! If I hadn’t scanned I never would’ve known his microchip was basically useless. Thankfully Fi registers all microchips for free so I was able to add his number on there.

Works great at the shelter I volunteer for. Love that it’s rechargeable. Small and flat enough to easily fit into a pocket.

This works well, you have to pretty much get it within a couple inches to read. I wish it had a MUTE feature! My cats are scared of the little beeping noises, I wonder if it reminds them of a vet?

Priced so that I can keep one in my glove box and I gave another to a friend that does transports. Easy to use and holds a charge for weeks.

It’s a cheap little thing. The ones they have at the vet or pet store will be infinitely more reliable. This found 2 out of 3 of my dogs’ chips on round 1, 1 out of 3 on round 2, and never found any chips afterward, despite double-checking technique and device charge. Do not recommend.

A friendly black and white cat began to visit my home without a collar ID tag. Appeared to be in good health and unlikely to be a feral cat. I purchased the reader hoping my friend would be microchipped and indeed he was! Although the probable NanoCHIP (15 digit 134.2kHz ISO 11784/85 FDX-B) was not registered with any database, I eventually learned he belonged to one of my neighbors. Bright, reproducible, high resolution display immediately appeared passing the device over his left shoulder. Highly recommended!

This reader worked on for my cats, and a half dozen ferals I feed at a nearby park. It is simple and does the job at a remarkably low cost.

Works great. Easy to use. Press button, hear beep then scan 5 inches away from cat or animal. Reads chip right away. Or states no chip. Small display but just take a pic to enlarge numbers or use reader glasses. Comes fully charged with a cable cord. Need your own charger. Great quality for the price. Have Ontario chips so reads them all.
