Yard Master Sport

We bought the 50” for my autistic daughter to go along with her dvd/projector. Now she has a movie night every night. Screen quality very nice, picture quality on screen also very nice with bright clear colors. First one we bought came a little damaged (no fault of seller, shipping fault). We contacted seller right away and seller was quick to respond with refund and then we purchased again to replace. I’m so glad we did as this is very nice. My daughter will get many happy movie nights with this. I highly recommend!

Great product and easy to set up for movie night on a go.

Pros: - Seems like real projector screen material instead of shower curtain or tarp material - Assembly is quite easy - Support mechanism seems well designed Cons: - First off, the stand beyond redemption. Legs are rickety. The lock collars don't have enough friction to hold up the screen so you can't unroll it completely. If you assemble then raise it, the screen comes crashing down. You're better off just hanging the screen from a wall. - Quality control. Several gouges on the screen out of the box, one near the center of the viewing area. Wouldn't mind them on the outer edges, but I expect better out of a company that specializes in screens. - Screen rolling is entirely manual. I thought there would be a spring loaded roller, but no, you roll it like a poster. Plus the closing mechanism is a couple of velcro straps you have to put at the ends. Very difficult to do solo.

Overall quality was as expected. This was a gift with a projector for outdoor usage. Screen rolls up nicely to be pretty compact for storage considering the size. Picture quality is very good, crisp and clear not sure if that is because of the quality projector. I do recommend for outdoor display definitely look for a NO See Through backing such as this..your picture quality will diminish greatly. Probably with most outdoor usage of any screen, viewing is best after dusk or under a darker canopy of trees or overhead protected area. Not recommended during windy, inclement weather..will blow around even with tie downs. Would recommend a sand bag or two for fear of blowing over with a breeze. Recommend not to leave product outside in the elements, put it away after usage to prolong life of screen. Product came sooner then expected due to Covid issues in California..Overall very good product and customer service..If it came larger with tripod we would of purchased that instead. The screen was very satisfactory

I need a portable projector screen that is lightweight, fast and easy to assemble to bring to places for presentations. This fits the criteria. Have not tried it with the projector yet so I will update my review.

UPDATE FROM 3 STARS TO 1 STAR: after 9 days of owning this and only using it twice, the top locking wing broke. See photo. The tripod is really flimsy and the screen is held up by a single string which twists around because there's nothing else securing it except one clip all the way at the bottom of the screen. Not worth the money. PREVIOUS REVIEW: I got the Yardmaster Sport, the one on a tripod. It is fine. Easy for one person to set up and take down. You cannot secure the bottom section of the pole so it swivels with the slightest breeze. I used chairs to block the bottom of the screen and keep it from twisting with the wind. The zipper on the storage bag came off on the very first use. I read another review that said the same thing happened. That's super annoying for storage.
