Stainless steel, chrome plated
Length was good, the fit was best. And it’s held up for a long time. Normally my dogs don’t use any type of collar because they could stay on my property. But they have no problem with what I wanna slip out on them. Good quality

Good quality. Chokes the pooch. This is better than other brands I ordered in the past.

A little thinner than I hoped. I will rereview when I use.
Updating my review: The chain worked fine. My nervous dog got even more nervous when I started using it though so I'm not going to use it anymore. But it did work great. I've decided to use positive high value treats (like turkey or chicken) to try to get him to be less nervous. Original: A little concerned about the strength of the chain and rings. I expected it to be a bit thicker. Will report back if it was fine once I start using. My dog is a rescue who tends to lunge when he afraid so I want to have something strong but not too heavy to correct him. I used a halter and he was doing well but he hates that thing. This will allow me to train and practice look at me. Great video of how to use on NYC bully crew on YouTube. Also some other great videos from others on the importance us using the rings correctly.

Sent me wrong length!
Ordered the 25” Chain a couple of months ago. For this whole time, I thought I measured wrong, because I could barely get the Chain on and off my Dog’s Head. I ended up adding a Shackle to make the distance. I happened to measure the Chain today, from working on something else, and I find out the Chain itself is only 23”. It’s supposed to be 25”! And, 26” from end of Ring to Ring! NOT IMPRESSED!

SS Chain Left Stain
I purchased this chain because it was stainless steel. it is a good and strong chain. however it left a metal stain color around my white dog's neck.

Just what I was looking for.
This is perfect for my dog. He is 60 pounds but a tender little thing and we just needed something to give light corrections so he would stop pulling and jumping on people since nothing else worked and he clearly understands the word no. He's just an eager to please puppy and needed a little behavioral reminder for when he gets over excited. Have a good idea of your dog's titration level when you go to buy things like these. A big bull headed dog likely will need a heavier choke chain to get their attention. Pulling into the choke can still be expected as well, the point is to 'pop' them when they misbehave such as pulling on leash or jumping on people like mine has been. You give a very swift upwards jerk with the leash and immediately release. Don't jerk up and hold it there. Find the right amount of pressure it takes to get your dog's attention when you pop him and always pair the correction with the word no, then immediately give him/her the command you want them to perform such as heel or sit or stay. When they do it, praise praise praise and get as excited as you can about it. If you know what you are doing, these are a very useful tool.

It's good

Good heavy quality chain. I'm using it as a pressure measure paired with a vest harness for my 150 lb corso. Simply it snugs up when he pulls to much away from me when walking and he doesn't appreciate the pressure so he slacks off and slows down. I do not use this as a corrective bite procedure like most handlers do. Simply a pressure and slack tool that the dog figures out on his own as discomforting so he walks better. I clip it in with his vest harness so the leash is clipped to both items. At no time can he even choke himself out if he went ballistic, this is what works for us. He's a big baby and needs alot of positive reinforcement all the time and he has reactivity issues with collars and neck handling because he's afraid and defensive. Then on the other hand the vest makes him feel invisible and he will pull like a workhorse lol so this snug chain is the balancing factor! Very pleased with my purchase.
