The scent smells nice like a lite lemon tobacco kinda thing and then it goes away very quickly and doesn't become toxic and overwhelming. The hold on the product is amazing . It might be the best hold i have ever experienced from a hair paste. I have straight hair and sometimes the way i style my hair doesnt last the whole day but this really does. you are going to look good all day. Its a solid paste its somewhat pliable but not the best depending on how wet u want to leave your hair before applying product to it . I use this product with and another product KSM hair play which is very pliable and it works great togeter. Also i prefer natural matte look and i know the says theres shine too it . i think it looks matte but then again i blow dry my hair to a certain point. I figure it will be more shine the wetter the hair is. Anyway its a pricey product but it is worth the money. I will buy another one but also i will continue to use other products just to see what else is out there so i dont miss anything .

The product is firm but spreads easily, is light, but has good hold. I began using it when my stylist used it on my hair and then the salon quit carrying it. I’m glad I can find it in Amazon. I have short hair and only need a pea - sized dab while hair is still damp. This package lasts several weeks

The feel, the hold, the smell, the look - all awesome. Love this stuff. BUT... I have super sensitive skin and this does bother my scalp a little. If I change to another product, my skin issues go away. If I switch back to this, the issues come back. I like it so much, though, that I continue to use it. So, maybe give it a shot at least once and figure out whether it's right for you.

Been using this for years and no other product does exactly what I want with my hair with no fuss. All Kevin Murphy products are great but this one is special.

Smells good but I received it almost dried out. Hard to scoop and apply to the hair leaving it feeling dry. Used once and it did have a high hold but the dry feeling left me not wanting to use it. Maybe it would feel different with a fresh container
