I've bought this salt many times. it's my go-to for flavoring food because it has a smoky flavor. Great for meats, fish, and vegetables. It's pure, natural, and non-addictive. The salt comes in flakes. I always repurchase it.

I have always loved Maldon salt, so when I discovered they had a smoked version, I was overjoyed. This is an awesome price for a bucket of salt, as far as buckets of salt prices go. The flavor is awesome and I put it in a salt cellar and use it on everything. Everything. There are some bigger pieces among the smaller flakes, but they're easy to spot and crush up. Love this stuff.

Great product in bulk for a great price. Maldon is a great finishing salt, and this smoked variety is all we use anymore. The smokiness is very light so it can be used on many different foods. This size lasts a long time.

Maldonado salt really is the best finishing salt there is and the oakwood smoked variety is truly terrific. Very fragrant and adds a delicious smoky flavor to dishes

This salt is wonderful, so I bought the 1.1 lb container for the better price. The texture is great, you can crush it to make it finer, and a little bit of this goes a long way. Some of the things I use it in/on are my rib rub, grilled steaks, macaroni and cheese, and certain soups such as ham and bean. It’s very good on the bacon-wrapped pork tenderloin and bacon-wrapped chicken tenders that I roast in the oven. Basically, it’s great for anything that you would like to add a little bit of smoky flavor to. I don’t cook with a smoker, and I’m not a fan of liquid smoke. This salt, along with smoked paprika and smoked chipotle pepper, are great ways to add a little bit of smoky flavor to certain recipes.

The smokiness is just the right amount, not too strong. Love using it on my homemade seed crackers!

I am obsessed with this salt. The smell alone is incredible but the taste is lovely and adds extra flavour to whatever you’re making. I nearly bought other versions Maldon make before realising they are rock salts, I like that this is their signature pyramid granules so it’s easy to use and doesn’t need a grinder. The tube is huge so it lasts for ages, even for me and I eat a disgusting amount of salt a day, it’s a miracle I’m still alive. It’s good value for money, even though it’s on the more expensive side. I recommend and will absolutely repurchase.
