This oil feels good, and I’m sure it’s giving my skin a definite glow. The smell is very different from usual oils in that it smells strongly of saffron. However this disappears within a second or two of application. I use a mild retinol serum followed by this oil. I’m in my 70s now and I know this oil won’t work wonders on facial lines, but it does give a healthy glow which is attractive. I would purchase again.

The saffron oil I bought from India is a lovely deep raspberry red and smells fragrant - this oil is yellowish and smells rather pungent. The bottle is difficult to open as the cheap plastic doesn't unscrew easily, you have to squeeze it in a particular way and keep twisting and lifting until it catches. Moisturises well.
