Coconut Bon Bons - 1 Lb

this is one of my favorite candies. they are sooo tasty. It's a real treat if you like coconut.

I love these!! God knows why but I do!! They aren’t glorious but I love them!! They arrived fresh and packaged well. My only complaint is the price. I normally buy them at the grocery store and the price is way lower than the price here on Amazon. This is the first time I bought these here and will be the last only because of the high price. If they lower the price…..the decent price that it should be then of course I would be happy to buy again. I rate the freshness, taste and delivery 5 stars but the price 1 star.

The coconut bon bons I received were fresh and very delicious. They arrived in the color assortment shown. The color/flavor combo are brown-chocolate, pink-strawberry, white-vanilla, and yellow-lemon. They are just like the bon bons that were sold years ago at candy counters by JC Penney and other fine department stores.

The bon bons were great. Everyone loved them.

These BonBons were a special treat at Christmas when I was young. My mother is now in a nursing home and struggling with dementia. I had these sent to her and called later the day they arrived. She remembered them and the joy we had every year because these were a gift from my Dad! She had shared them with my sister who said they were very good. Thank you for the memories and a very special Christmas moment.

I guess part of my disappointment could be due to my memory of them being unrealistic due to the number of years it has been since I have had them. Maybe 30 years ago. These are smaller than I remember, but not by terribly much. They are very very sweet - sweeter than I remember, but then again, I might be remembering differently, or my tastes may have changed. I had two specific unpleasing factors for the 3 Star rating, First of all, the inside coconut was not very moist. It was not awful, but still drier than it should be. Secondly, they came in somewhat crushed. Only about half the Bonbons in the bag were fully intact. On a quick glance, I am guessing that there were about 30 candies in the bag.

This coconut sugar coated candy is flavorless, bland and generic tasting. Nothing like the old fashion multi color coconut bon bons. Worst candy ever,texture covering all wrong and mushy. Not worthy of being sold.

My dad recently had a craving for the old-style coconut Bon Bons. We looked everywhere for them, unsuccessfully. To my surprise, we found them on Amazon. I was quite skeptical as to the quality that we might receive. We decided to take a chance, and we're sure glad that we did. This candy was received fresh and delicious, just like the old fashioned style, and with no high fructose corn syrup too. Delicious!
