The one I tested works just fine
Opened one up to test before sending them out with packages. It took about 20 minutes to warm up but it’s been warming my lower back for about 5 hours now. Not sure it will last 72 hrs but so far so good.

Heater for Silkie Transport!
Life Saver! I use these 72 hour heat packs, Shipping live baby chicks clear from Oregon to as far as New York and Maine. They do retain heat for seventy two hours and placed under shavings , is just up warmth for my little guys to make it cozy and alive!

They didn't work. Don't buy!
The product did not work and did not heat up after following the instructions and leaving the heat packs open to air for 2 hours. Unfortunately this product is not eligible for refund or return. Waste of money.

They work! I sell/ship plants. In winter heat packs are necessary. They shipped as promised AND have a long shelf life, got exp date mid 2028!! Thanks!! Just wish they were lighter as it adds quite a bit of weight to ship box, ergo more ship cost

usually work great, but 50% chance to get a dud
I use these to ship with my plants in the winter. Majority of the time they work fine, but at least one or two out of every 10 pack is a dud that gets tossed out. It seems to be heavily dependent on the seller, too. Once I opened 5 at once (from the same order) and EVERY ONE was a dud. Make sure you open them early before you start packing to give them time to warm up to ensure you won't be losing your product in transit and you'll be fine.
