Great controller just need to update it out of the box. It’s fast and simple, just google raizer raiju firmware; then downoad the link. Plug your controller to the computer via wire mode and then update should start for the controller. Some people drink to relieve stress. Some people eat. Me? I game. Been gaming all my life. So much so that I decided a few years back to take the plunge and get myself a Scuf controller. Well, one turned into two, and then three, and before you know it, I've been though a half dozen Scuf controllers in less than 7 or so years. All with the same problem(s): stick drift and button/paddle wear. After my last Scuf, which barely made it a year, had to go back for yet another instance of "press paddle, watch nothing happen," I decided enough was enough. I was going to invest in a PROPER gaming controller.So I settled on this.I ignored the reviews scattered across the internet warning about stick drift. I ignored the fact that I was nearly investing a car payment into a gaming peripheral. Once I got the email that the Razer Ultimate was back in stock, I committed. I bought it, and I bought it HARD and FAST.Initially, I had the same issues others have had with "stick drift." However, I found that keeping my controller connected via USB and making sure the toggle on back was set for USB nearly eliminated ALL instances of stick drift (and I only say "nearly" here because I don't know if I experienced stick drift after my USB/toggle discovery, or if I was just sloppy with my stick movement).Overall, the controller in the first week was GREAT. A bit heavy, and the curvature of the triggers (L2/R2) on the back made for slightly off center hand placement which, after long gaming sessions, I would feel as fatigue in my hands, but overall not bad.And then, out of nowhere, the R1 button decides it doesn't want to work anymore and lodges itself a quarter inch into the 40 pound chassis of the controller. Unfortunately for me, every game ever needs R1 for SOMETHING. In my case, a LOT of somethings. Thus, my $270 investment into my recreation and mental therapy time was rendered a paper weight.After two whole weeks. And I'm not even talking two weeks of heavy use here! I'm talking like an hour a day for at LEAST half of those two weeks (my work schedule changed. If not, I may have broken this thing on day 2).Moral of the story here is that something that feels like a brick and costs $270 should last more than two weeks.*edit*It's back, and MORE EXPENSIVE.*edit 2*Now it's LESS expensive than the initial listing of $290.

Great controller with an exception to there being a drifting issue. I have a replacement controller and it’s still doing the same thing. Do not buy. Get something else. Wish I could get my money back.Update: I’m going to give it a 4 star instead of a 5. I notice that if the controller is in Bluetooth mode, you don’t experience any of the problems. Would be a 5 star but it can’t be perfect with these problems.

The controller feels great in my hands and has a lot of potential, but the software/firmware needs refinement. The input lag is incredibly inconsistent, making it impossible to get used to. (At least with the Dual-Shock it was always awful and you could learn to input your commands early to offset this..)The controller that I purchased has "stick-drift" on the left analog. Somehow, this "drifting" has a higher sensitivity than I've been able to achieve on any controller in the past, and has my character spinning in circles constantly. It is impossible to overcome this while in game. ( I have tried Rocket League, Destiny 2, and Apex Origins so far... this controller has caused me to rage quit so many times in the past week its laughable. )I'm returning my controller and picking up the OG one. For the price, this controller should have the best support imaginable, but I've struggled to find any additional articles to help me resolve this. The fact that people are still beta testing should be a red-flag, but I was under the impression that the latest Beta resolved these problems... it hasn't even come close.

Excellent feel and finish, I want to love this controller. Unfortunately it does not matter how good it feels when the entire product line is a failure. I've been through 4 of them, they just stop working within the first few months. Also, the bluetooth is atrocious, you must play wired to see what I mean. It introduces awful input latency to play wireless. Check their forums and you'll see what I mean. Endless complaints.

This controller is absolutely fantastic. Works super well in every game I've played from FPSs to RPGs. 100% do recommend this controller to anybody looking for a big upgrade from the admittedly solid DualShock 4.
