so pleased when this item arrived, absolutly loved the idea. For some reason its not working after a few days. i just need a replacement and sending this one back

I feel that it's imperative I write a review for this product as there are 2 issues. The first is to do with the lighting of the product. The lighter is DANGEROUS. Although you are given the impression you need to use your finger to ignite it, you don't; you can even ignite it using a brick wall! I discovered this as I was a little sceptical about the lid opening as I've had lighters in the past where the lid opened without cause but didn't ignite. So I decided to test the lighter, obviously with the lid open, firstly on my leg, through my shorts and, you guessed it, the light actually ignited. So I then thought I'd try it on a non-porous object (as skin is porous, even through my shorts apparently). So I tried it on a wall, right next to where I was sitting. After touching the wall side on, again with the lid open of course, I was gobsmacked that the lighter had actually ignited! No way was I keeping this in my pocket! Next, we come to the battery life, which is absolutely dire! I am not a heavy smoker by any means; maybe 10 to 15 a day, roll-ups. Once I'd received the lighter, I tried to ignite it thinking it was going to be out of charge. But it wasn't. Just to be sure before I used it properly, I decided to put the lighter on charge over night, so around 15 hours if you include the time from when I received it to the time I got up. On arising, I checked the lights on the lighter and saw they were out, which, according to the instructions means it's completed charging I then proceeded to light my first cigarette of the day and continued to do so throughout the day, up until the time I had decided to carry out these "danger" tests. I'd probably smoked around 10 by this time and with the tests, which equated to around 4 cigarettes I'd say, I went to light my next cigarette. But nope! Diddly squat! The lighter had completely diminished and there was no ignition from it at all. Luckily, I had another lighter available, or I would have been stuck! Anyway, would I recommend this product? Absolutely not! AND I DO SUGGEST YOU TRY THESE TESTS YOURSELF, ESPECIALLY IF THE LID/TOP IS STARTING TO GET LOOSE, AS I THINK YOU MAY BE SURPRISED AT WHAT YOU FIND.

Fabulous idea this well worth the money

This lighter is fairly good, it has very elegant design and look, however because it's so shiny, every time you use it there will be fingerprint left and in the end there will be so many of them that design won't matter. Also battery doesn't last that long in my situation, you have to charge it up quite frequently

I absolutely love this lighter! I smoke roll ups so I make sure that there is no excess paper, which can clog up the coil. Mine stopped working after 5 weeks but I contacted them and I had a free replacement in 2-3 days as they have a year warranty. Battery life is good and charges very quickly. A mesh coil would work better than a spiral one to reduce the risk of it breaking if people apply too much pressure.

Now don't get me wrong, this is a great product for anyone who is always running out of lighters. I got this as a present for my fiancee as he never seemed to have a lighter. The packing was great, colour looked awesome and the charger time was minimal for full charge. It was Christmas gift and has been used a bit, imagine my surprise when my fiancé charged it ready for work the next day, to then tell me, its charged the light is on to say its charged, the power button works, when you press the power button the middle bit no longer glows orange!!!!! It has been a matter of weeks and it has not been used a great deal, now I'm not sure if this is something we have done or not done correctly, but the last few charges it has had, it has always worked correctly after wards. I will be contacting the seller to make them aware that this product has stopped working after a few weeks and think they need to be made aware incase its a design flaw. other than this issue its a great idea.

Work on the day of delivery, next day it only lasted about 5 or 6 rollies and the little charging dots said fully charged, lying little dots,, day after comme to use .flat, dead as a door nail even though dots say it's fully charged, wast of money, don't buy seriously . Can't return as I've binned the packaging, does anyone save packaging, got to use my toaster now . Buy a cheap toaster instead
