Multi-Fire XHD 28" Plug-In Electric Fireplace with Acrylic Ember Media Bed

We purchased these beautifully tiled shadow box fireplaces and unfortunately, one of the inserts was damaged. I luckily found the exact Dimplex size/model insert (28”) that fit perfectly. This fireplace is located in my office and gives off perfect heat. The settings on the remote work exactly as described. The only assembly required is to place the acrylic stones on the bed, and to attach the screen glass face, which has 2 hooks that it easily slides on and hooks. Beautiful fireplace insert.

When it is 71 in the house, the fireplace says 77 and only goes up to 78. Not near warm enough. Pretty fireplace insert though, just wish it heated more and went higher than 78.

We are very happy with the purchase of this electric fireplace, we read the other reviews and chose this one. It was a little bit more $$ then some of the others but you get what you pay for. The flame is very realistic and the best that we have seen, and the clear crystal stones change colors based on the selection. My wife added starfish for the nautical look since we live on the water. The heat output is the max. for a 120v unit and is quiet. Also like the the temperature setpoint is digital, would high recommend.

Beautiful but heater stoped working after a few months. I did troubleshoot and was able to get it working again. It does make some loud clicks. Heat rises and doesn’t warm up the room like my previous infrared.

I purchased this as a replacement for the original. It fit perfectly and looks beautiful

I’m very pleased with this purchase overall. Remote didn’t work, but other than that, it’s a great little fireplace. Would definitely recommend it.

When the fireplace arrived, the heater part of the fireplace did not work. The rest of the fireplace was beautiful. Had to return.

J'ai remplacéle foyer dans mon VR ne pouvant plus trouver les pièces pour l'ancien. Ma seule déception est la vitre qui s'acroche seulement. J'ai peur qu'elle débarque lors de mes déplacements.

Unfortunately we installed this and it was working fine until last year when it simply stopped working. It would flicker on and off for a while, but eventually it stopped working all together.
