Textbook
I like how the material is presented in this book. I would recommended this book to anyone who is and industrial engineer, manufacturing engineer, supply chain manager, or anyone who is involved in material handling.

I bought this for my girlfriend at the time. She thought it was quite informative. She certainly passed the class based on her smarts and ability to find information in this book. I don't care...

Just as Described.
The overall condition of this book was great. The international versions of text books are always a little different to get used to but definitely saved me money guys, thanks for the fast shipping time as well.

Looking for a different book.
Overall, the content of the book is fine, but it is not written well. The explanation of concepts and methods is limited. It is evident that different authors handled different section resulting in inconsistencies and disconnects between chapters. The authors cover a lot of material, but at very little depth. The content in several sections is dated and could use updating. I read the book in order to review the topic, but I really had to force myself to finish the text.

Great book for scientific layout planning

It is an awful book and extremely bad written: very difficult to follow the author's reasoning/logic. The examples are uncompleted and they are not well explained. The majority of the questions are way more complex than the "theory" explained in the book and there is not explanation for it. Great number of questions are research-open question, which are not well documented on the literature. Also, the book covers too much heuristic techniques that I personally do not agree with in many cases. This is not a good book to teach/learn the state of the art "Facilities design."
