True heavy duty scissors. I kept breaking my workshop scissors. Never buy scissors that have a plastic pivot point. But this pivot is stainless. Thick, strong scissors. These may be the last scissors I ever have to buy for the shop. We all need to stop buying throw away products and invest a little in long term products inline with our strong, long term values.

We use these scissors in an industrial environment. Perfect for all applications, these are sturdy and strong. The sharpness is retained through several uses.

Great scissor for the general workshop and job site, I have used them for 20 years. Cuts about anything flexible in the shop: heavy cardboard templates, canvas, neoprene, landscaper cloth, foam, even light gauge tin and aluminum sheet in a pinch. These are advertised for "utility", not as "metal shears" so do not expect that. The notch at the heel of the long blade can serve as a wire cutter, within reasonable limits. They hold their edges for quite a long time but thin sheet metal will shorten edge life. I have lost a few pair on jobs but never wore one out.

**FABULOUS SHEARS!!** I have bought countless shears over the years, to cut meat for my dogs, & to cut the hardened plaster molds that I use in my business. None of the previous shears have ever done an adequate job for what I needed them to do....then I purchased the Wiss W912 shears & thought I would give them a try....WOW, what a great surprise!!! I have never had a pair of shears do such a fantastic job! These shears did such a great cutting job, that I BOUGHT ANOTHER PAIR!! If you need SERIOUS/STRONG CUTTING SHEARS...DO NOT HESITATE...BUY THESE!!

But they are not scissors, they are Shears.

Blade is not 10 inches, but for the money and quality I would buy again, but if needed longer order something else. I wanted a longer cutting blade but that one is too expensive.

i carry a pair of these on my shop apron,they open paint cans, pick up stuff off the ground, scrape sawdust off my chop saw deck,cuts lexon roofing,and priced resonably enough on amazon you can afford to use them, light weight,whats not to like, well ill tell ya, tough to use with gloves on
