Bilstein 24-245500 Shock Absorber

I installed these Bilsteins as the final component in our 2020 Winnebago Travato KL's rear and what a difference. When purchased the van (Ram Promaster 3500 extended hightop based) had a lithium system battery box that extended/dropped about an inch lower than the rear axle, and the van had noticeable, almost scary, sway in some corners. With the addition of blue Sumo springs front and rear, Supersprings set on most firm, rear, a Hellwig rear stabilizer/anti-sway bar and these Bilsteins, the van's battery box is now an inch above the rear axle plane (2" overall lift) and the van handles much more responsively. Much to my wife's chagrin I can now corner the van about 25% faster... These Bilsteins made a palpable difference in the ride. I am happy with these shocks and would buy again. Recommended. Installed these by myself on my 2016 Promaster 2500 (high roof 159wb) in about an hour. Super simple! Vastly improved the ride, but I’m pretty sure my old shocks were toast anyways.

Works as expected. I have it on my work van . My ride has been restored. Adds a little color to the under side .

After 6 months of use and 4000 miles the shock started leaking. Not reliable.
