These buns are delicious. They are sooo fresh and soft. We buy Costco foot long hotdogs, cut one in two and place cooked half in each buns. They are sooooooo good!!

I'm not sure what's going on with any of the negative reviews because these are delivered soft, fresh and delicious every time. this are a made from a small loaf of bread cut into bun size use. wasn't inpressed with the flavor, size or price for what I received.

I moved away from New England over 10 years ago and have missed having a natural casing hotdog in a delicious grilled hotdog bun. It was a treat. Shipping was great. They came quickly in a solid box that protected the buns from getting crushed. The buns had 8 more days left until the sell-by date. The picture might be misleading about the size of the buns. They are normal size. The hotdog is particularly large.

We got these for the Super Bowl, because we live west of the West Coast and could not get proper rolls at the grocery (and didn't feel like baking them ourselves). They were perfect: buttered and grilled, they held lobster and tasted like the coast (we make Connecticut rolls, drenched in butter. I'm sure they would have worked equally well for the Maine style, but i honestly can't assess without a lobster donation, which is always welcome). They came a day later than Amazon said they would, which was cutting it pretty close: we got them Saturday before Super Bowl Sunday. They tasted incredibly fresh, like they were baked that day. We went through a few bags, and two rolls from the last bag. Then we spun the last bag closed and left it on the counter in case someone wanted a hotdog. Two weeks later, the bag was still there. I checked the rolls, and... they're perfect! Still in great condition, still soft, no mold or decay. I have no idea what you have to do to a roll to make it outlast Twinkies, but these things are bulletproof. We did not buy these as healthfood, and the preservatives contributed to welcome authenticity and a very happy game.

I agree with other reviewers who said these are kind of spendy for a hot dog bun. But I grew up in New England and, like other reviewers said, if you live in the southwest or the on the west coast, you can't find this style of bun anywhere. Mine arrived in great shape; I bought the larger quantity so the per bun cost was a bit more reasonable. I brushed the sides with melted butter and grilled them and they tasted very good, just like I remember. I used them first for hot dogs but I will definitely use them for chicken salad and fried clams. Certainly a frivolous purchase but very fun and I'll probably buy them again.

These buns are so dang little! I am sorry I spent $14.00 for 6 itty bitty buns.
