Mens Suspenders Very Strong Clips Heavy Duty Braces One Size Fits All Y Shape

I had looked at other types of suspenders, which were cheaper, but I know that you get what you pay for. These were a bit more, but they looked great, and above all, well made. I liked the choices of the stripe colors, and I could see that this pair was ruggedly made, and not a cheap knock off lookalike. The clasp is indeed strong, and a heavy duty thicker metal that won't bend when attached to heavy material like bluejeans, even on a belt loop. They are really comfortable, with a wide strap that doesn't chafe, and has a variable adjustment for the length, and firmness to hold your pants up. They don't slip if you bend over, and they are super easy to adjust, even while wearing them. The leather junction is sewn well, and not lumpy, nor is it uncomfortable. These are a great choice I had made, and I might get a few pairs more for different occasions. I had no idea how great it would be without using a constrictive belt, and using these suspenders makes my jeans so much more comfortable. Two thumbs up on these!

More of a PSA rather than a review. I just bought these suspenders for my husband as cheaper ones tended to not stay attached. I have to say, I'm a horrible spouse for reasons that will become clear shortly. The suspenders seem to be well-made. The clasps are heavy and sturdy. My husband put them on and I helped adjust the tension in the straps for him. However, I thought the straps were still a bit snug - he said they were fine. And they were - until he sat down and bent over to pick up his shoe. Ping! The back strap separated from his pants, swung around and clocked him in the forehead. He was shocked. Once I picked myself up off the floor from laughing, I checked him out. He had a red mark on his forehead from the clasp and the force in which it struck him. He, with quiet dignity, pointed out that it could've hit him in the eye and what then? I said he'd either be blind or dead - assassinated by his suspenders. Two days later, he still has a red mark, albeit faded. He feels the suspenders should come with a warning label. Potential buyers of these suspenders - consider yourselves warned. As for myself, they've become my favorite article of his clothing.

We live in hot and humid Southwest Florida and have wetlands on two sides of our property. Often times various shrubs and trees grow over our fencing and require severe trimming. Whenever I venture into the wetlands I wear a thick pair of pants instead of shorts. The reasons to need extra protection include all the types of flora and fauna that inhabit these wild areas and seem to have protective thorns and/or poisons to keep you from getting close. The joke here is that the plants bite back. My outfits also include long sleeve shirts, boots, hats with bug netting, and sturdy gloves. Many of the tactical and/or waterproof pants have small belt loops -- if they have any at all. Since they are constructed of heavier material (for protection) their weight constantly challenges the ability of thin belts to hold them up. So I started buying Carhartt suspenders because of their heavier construction. They have worked quite well but the metal clips have rusted and become unreliable. In addition there is no 'give' to the suspenders for comfort when twisting or reaching up or down. So I decided to shop for suspenders that were heavy duty and could tolerate the tough working conditions I encounter. As soon as I saw the product page for these Decalen Men's Suspenders I knew that they would probably fit the bill. The larger and strong metal clips and the heavy duty (stretchy) braces stay in place nicely and allow additional freedom for moving through dense vegetation. The fact that they stretch gives you a potential longer life since all the pressure is not put on the metal clips. I always get a brightly colored set of braces since it makes it easier for people to find me when I am deep in the wetlands. My next pair will be lime green.

I bought this well over a year ago, and I came back because it deserves the good rating. I use suspenders for my work in kitchens so I don't have to think or worry about my pants falling. I work six days a week and long days, constant moving and bending. I point this out for the product. This single suspender has stood up better than any other before it. It barely has shown any sign of wear, almost totally new looking (even the leather "dealen" on the back looks new), and has shattered all the suspenders I have bought before it. Still rock solid clasps and still great stretch after all this usage. And I don't baby it in the slightest, so this is a solid buy. If something was to happen with it, which I don't see happening anytime soon, I wouldn't hesitate to purchase again. Edit: Yesterday, April 17, 2024 the back piece broke off. Four years of constant, constant heavy usage. Literally probably in the top 5 most value-gotten items I’ve ever owned. I didn’t hesitate to buy again. If your looking for suspenders, buy these.

First off, realize these suspenders are not what you want "down on the farm". So if you are going to perform heavy , dirty, or really active type work you may need a different suspender as the elastic weave is somewhat nubby and will often catch/snag on something. But that being said, this brand is my brand of preference for casual, dress up, or even light work because the snap clips hold superbly. The clips themselves are robust, well designed, and close with authority. I have multiple pair of these suspenders because more than looking great and being comfortable, they keep my damn pants up where they belong all freakin' day. I love'em!

The adjustment and fit are excellent. Durability will be determined in time. But I expect these to last a very long time. Far superior to any I’ve bought in a box store. A good value for your money. And look great. The clasps grip without slipping and are very easy to use.

These suspenders are really nice. They are made in England, not in China, and it shows. The clasps are very sturdy and the elstic straps are nice and thick. Everything about them feels like quality. They may be a little wide to look dressy on a slender person, but I wear a 3XL shirt, so they look "right" on me. I definitely recommend these.
