Mary Poppins Returns Deluxe Novelization Review: Fun Read for Kids, Kids-At-Heart and Fans of The Movie - The book follows the movie pretty faithfully. It is easy to read and has attractive black and white illustrations. There's also a section of color photos from the movie. We bought this as a gift for my son's best friend, who happens to love "Mary Poppins Returns" and has seen the film twice already. He also has the movie soundtrack on CD. He was delighted with this book and we were happy to find the novelization here on desertcart at such a great price! Review: All right, I'm in. - It's hard for me to like remakes. I always like the original. It's also hard to read a book and then see a movie. Now I do have more of an interest in sequels. I'll take my time entering in...ask what's this? What are they doing here? I did it all differently this time. I think Mary Poppins would be proud - I was little upside down and sideways. I didn't go to see the movie first. I got the book. And I was in. McCullough did a great job of convincing me the return of Mary Poppins is OK. I enjoyed the book from cover to cover. Actually I'm glad I read the book first. Now I'm excited to see the scenes live. So well done McCullough. You have the Mary Poppins touch. :)

I loved this book and I can't wait to see the movie! I was in every page of the book and I could imagine all that was being done and said at the very minute. It made me smile all the throughout the entire read.
