BitDefender Internet Security - 1 User, 3 Years Windows (Email Delivery in 2 hours - No CD)

Pros 1. Excellent AV detection rate (according to avtest website) 2. Online security seems strong (based on avtest website and also tested with test malware from eicar) 3. Firewall is very strict, sometimes way too strict and may end up blocking parts of windows including, xbox components, online gaming, wlan, mobile hotspot from laptops. Fortunately, setting an exception in firewall settings for the program svchost.exe (in system 32 folder) solved this issue. Svchost manages all host processes for windows. 4. It has a host of other features like system vulnerability scan, an excellent ransomware protection shield, software updater, wifi scan just to name a few. Cons: 1. It can be slightly heavy on system resources. So make sure you have decent processor and ram. (The main background process occupies 600 MB RAM). So plan accordingly. I have 16 gigs, so not an issue for me. Preferably install the program in ssd if you have one. 2. VPN: I wouldn't trust its vpn given they have ties with hostpot shield and also its only 200mb free per day. The premium vpn costs extra. But you can get proton vpn free or nord vpn premium if you really need one. VERDICT: I think only Kaspersky and Norton can really compete with bitdefender. I chose bitdefender as kaspersky misses out on some features and Norton can very rarely be inefficient at removing virus which is already present on the system. Also, the price is lower than both of these offerings. But if system performance is very important to you and you have a fairly low end system, Kaspersky could serve you better.

I've used Eset internet security but it's gone bad with the UI department and I didn't like the user interface, it's so confusing. After that, I bought Kaspersky and used that for two years, it was good but started hampering with some games and software files...I uninstalled that. Received the key within an hour. Now I'm using Bitdefender av, I'll suggest you buy the "Internet security" version or "Total security" version instead of "plus". You won't get the Firewall feature in the "PLUS" version but in the Internet security and Total security. If you want some extra utilities better to go with Total security version. With Total security version you will get these extra utilities: 1- One click system optimizer 2- Anti theft 3- Startup optimizer 4- Disk cleanup The above 4 features are not present the PLUS and Internet security version. I already have a tuneup utilities so I bought Internet security version. Total security is recommended to buy over both of these. The best thing about Bitdefender is the user interface which is very intuitive and easy to use. There are lot of function to block the inbound and outbound connections, even you can choose to warn you if any application trying to communicate with its server..if you are using some unlicensed software :D you should use this feature to block the connections so that particular application won't communicate with the server. All in all a recommended buy friend!!

I am giving review after three years. This was one of the best antivirus software I used. This protected my PC (windows) from virus, malware, spyware & ransomware. The last Pc i used was attacked by Ransomware from CHINA. All my data was encrypted, I was asked ₹95k. I formatted my pc as I always backup. Later I purchased this one for around ₹190 for 1 PC 3 years. I used it continuously 1 on my old PC & later bought a laptops for content creation. It was a bit easy to transfer subscriptions & now it’s already expired still working good & protecting. So according to me it should be rewarded with ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.

Bought a new desktop from Dell which came preinstalled with McAfee. But since i had a bad experience with McAfee in my laptop, I did a small research to find the best antivirus which would be quick and doesn't slow down the system. I had finally zeroed in on 2 products. ESET internet security and Bitdefender internet security. And among the two, bitdefender had better reviews in terms of being light and had much better parental controls. If you are going to use it only for your desktop, go for this product. If you want to use it for your laptop, try Bitdefender Total Security which has anti-theft feature. I ordered it and received the code within 30,40 mins. Thanks to the seller AV Soft.

Its detection rate is 100% every time in the international lab tests. But it uses little more ram compared to others because it has more security features related to protection. So, your system need minimum 8gb ram in windows 10 64 (mine is 16gb and i5 8th gen) to run smoothly otherwise you feel slowness in your system. For less ram, go for KIS or ESET in my view. The PC might slow after Antivirus installation.

Internet security is out not of support, notvavailable any more.. Need to buy total security.. i did some work around to get it done . But total security is the way to go. Please dont buy internet security anymore
