Packed well, came in great shape, works well and they are extremely smooth. I love these crayons, the kids love them as well. They don’t break easily and it dries fine. They can smear but I haven’t had issues with them. My 3 and 7 year old use them. They are a bit pricy for how short they last but they are high quality for sure!

I first bought this item on 12/21/2021 for $14.99. My grandkids loved the gel pens, so I bought another set on 12/8/2023, but was charged $23.99. The current price on 12/13/2023 is $16.99. I think I may have been charged for the wrong gel pen set. The set named "Faber-Castell Gelatos Colors Set, Brights - Water Soluble Pigment Crayons - 12 Bright Colors" has a price of $23.49 today (12/14/2023). It's hard to imagine the price went from $14.99 to $23.99 to $16.99. I noticed the price difference when I bought the set on 12/8/2023, but since the pens and ink are so great, I bit the bullet. It wasn't until I noticed the current price drop, that I began to think I was charged for the wrong set on 12/8/2023. Whether the price actually varied that much within a 5-day period or I was charged for the wrong set, the pens are great!

I am a HUGE fan of Fabre Castell art products. Their crayons are super fantastic. When I saw these gel crayons I thought I would order them and see how I liked them. First of all, gel is the perfect description for these crayons. They slide on the paper with such ease that it is a pleasure to have them in your hand. These gel crayons would be perfect for a little boy that has no interest in coloring or writing at all. The lusciousness of the texture on the paper is something to be experienced. Any child would immediately fall in love with coloring in writing upon using these crayons. In the future, I would love to see Faber Castell make these in a thinner crayon. You will not be sorry ordering these crayons. They are really wonderful to color with.

Like other reviews, these do crumble some when you use them. For what I use them for (Premo Clay), that's not an issue. The sheen they leave is more pearlescent than metallic. They are very creamy and smear/blend well. They're not really a gel, but not a wax neither. I would have to say they are the consistency of lipstick. I wouldn't recommend for children under 14 y/o, as they can be quite messy if you're not careful. I accidentlly ordered 2, but like them enough to keep both. The colors are very pretty.

We use for our 2 year old who’s still learning how to put enough pressure on the regular crayola crayons to make his drawing. Great vibrant colors and he has recently been able to take the tops off for himself. He has colored on his clothes, table and himself but so far it was easily washed or wiped off.

Me encantan! Son muy suaves y los colores son brillantes, pintan increíble y el tamaño es perfecto para llevar a todos lados. Lo único es que para niños muy pequeños no las recomiendo pues pintan la piel y pueden manchar fácilmente
