Great basement covers
Nice strong plastic window covers, well made and thick,......they should last a long time.....Used them out at the farm to cover the two old basement aluminum windows.....stopped all the air leaks.......had to trim a little off the ends, but a pair of tin snips did the job with no breaks or cracks......I definitely would buy these again .....

Great for Basement Storm Windows.
These are good quality covers. I used them for vertical basement windows. I would have given them 5 stars but one was not formed correctly. I couldn’t install them right away, so when I discovered the flaw, the return window was closed. Fortunately the top wasn’t visible so I was able to get the bad one to work.

Perfect!
I needed a cover for my basement windows and this was exactly what I needed. Perfect size and easy to install.

Good piece of plastic
I had to take off at least one star for the adhesive that was left from the tape used to tape on the product info sheet. This was the biggest pain to get off. The tape is like a wide packing tape, and almost all of it remained on the plastic when I removed the sheet. I had to use two different solvents to get the tape goo off the plastic. It took longer to do that than install the covers. I'm taking off another star because there were a lot of streaky scratches on each panel. I don't think this was from shipping/handling because I ordered a stack of 6 and they all had imperfections on them. If you want perfectly clear, this aren't your window covers. I didn't want to drill into the basement foundation to attach these, so I cut them down on all 4 sides to it into the recessed window so the edge fit flush against the window frame. I used a high quality silicone to affix and seal the edges. The plastic cuts easily enough, although it had a tendency to splinter crack in places if I wasn't careful. This wasn't too big a deal on the edges because I used a thick and wide bead of caulk that I smoothed down. I can tell a difference from the single pane windows alone. Also, I like the way these look. It makes my basement windows feel more secure and the plastic is much easier to keep clean than the glass and metal frame of my old windows. I do recommend these covers, especially for the price. However the tape residue was a major hassle to deal with and seems like it could be minimized on the manufacturer's end.

Small price to pay for the quality
Well worth the money. Very easy to remove the stickers if you use isopropyl alcohol. Let it sit for a few minutes and then a little elbow grease will do the job. Installation was quite easy.

Nice item, but it has a giant sticker taped on the front wont come off.
So, I'm not going to return these, but I wont install them either. They are a nice clear cover for the windows but you simply can not get the label sticker off with out leaving a large tape splotch right in the middle of the window cover. It looks terrible and wont come off with anything. I've tried goo gone, goof off nothing will get the packing tape off. Can't imagine why a company would take a nice clear cover and then slap a giant strip of clear packing tape across it. If you don't mind the terrible look of the tape slapped across the cover, go ahead and buy them. I just like the appearance.

The cover works but could be a bit wider to better seal out rain or snow.
The only issue I found is that the width of the cover could have been several inches wider. I ended up adding duct tape to the sides of the cover in order that the coverage of the basement window would be easier to press against the concrete. This will help to keep rain or snow from entering the window space.

Affordable window cover
I liked the price that these sold for, they were cheaper than at the local hardware store. Installation is easy had more trouble taking off the stuck on tape then it took to install these.
