Dangerous - does not fit on UK catheters. Will lead to infection when it falls off.
This valve does not stay connected to catheter, it slides off just minutes after being fitted and leaves the user liable to serious infection through open catheter direct to bladder. Very dangerous.

Re-assuring
Bought to replace anotber brand that kept slipping out. This very secure with a tap. Slightly heavier but not uncomfortable.

Bard Flip Flo Valve x 1
Was told I could get these things on prescription but nobody seemed to have any stock. I thought why not try Amazon - and sur enough where it was. I worked pretty well - you have to make sure that it is connected tightly to the tube of the catheter. The ones on prescription are however better but better than nothing.

Had no problems with it
Read reviews on not being "ribbed" and slipping off. These are the same type issued by my Health Service in Ireland and I have had no problems with them.Only bought from Amazon as we're not in stock at my local pharmacy

DO NOT STAY CONNECTED
As others have said these push in, to the catheter tube, unribbed tap valves work themselves loose almost immediately & are therefore obviously not fit for purpose....
