Makes my hair look greasy and clump together

Ive used this stuff for years, was the perfect hair product, it used to be waterproof, had amazing hold with lovely Matt texture and smelled lovely, then during lockdown it disappeared off the shelf to my dismay. Managed to grab a pot in boots a month ago in Aug 2022, i dont know what you’ve done to it, but it’s awful, its greasy, has no hold, smells of that horrid orange polish cleaner and my hair does not stay in place, its also not waterproof anymore and during the day my hair somehow ends up looking both greasy and dry at the same time with a hay bale like texture. It got to the point when I have to slick my hair back every other hour when im out and about which drives me insane. For the first time in 20 years I decided to go out with nothing but a bit of water and hairspray in my hair for a natural slick back as the thought of this greasy sludge in my hair all day filled me with dread. Very upset as now got to find another new product. Never buying again. I literally have a tiny fingerful of the original good stuff im saving for a special occasion or something as its like gold dust.

Trevor Sorbie's Clay (when in the grey packaging) was incredible - one of the best clay's on the market. However, for some crazy reason, they have successfully managed to make this product worse since the repackage. The texture is more oily, the hold not as strong, and the finish is now greasy, and not matte as it says, and as it was. Definitely now a product to swerve unless you don't mind the results mentioned.
