These colored pencils are great. The Crayola brand has been a favorite for so long for a reason. The colors are vibrant and I love that the pencils are labeled with their names. They work awesome. The pencils are a standard size with lead that is both durable and soft enough to use without pressing super hard. They arrived nicely sharpened. I’d recommend them.

Crayola truly is the gold standard when it comes to children’s art supplies and these pencils are no exception. This 36 count pack is perfect for your budding artist. There are a variety of colors to choose from, including various shades of several colors which allows your child to begin exploring the nuance of color within things (e.g. The sky is blue, but what kind of blue? The ocean is blue, but is it the same blue as the sky?) Both of my children (7 and 4) use these pencils daily, they are their go-to art supply. The colors themselves are bright and vivid. The pencil core quality is great. They aren’t too waxy like other ones can be which makes the color transfer lighter and not as bright. They are also not too soft. Sometimes colored pencil cores so too soft that the pigment smushes around the page. These Crayola pencils are perfect. They transfer color beautifully and also have a hard enough core to where you can get crisp, sharp lines. They have a great grip and feel which makes them easy for all ages to use.

Crayola Colored Pencils, No Repeat Colors, 120 Count I hesitated buying these because I have the Prismacolor 132 set, and a few other brands, including the Crayola 50 set. I finally caved because this set has 120 colors & it was a Prime deal. Crayola pencils are harder than Prismacolor so they hold a point longer. I don't have to sharpen them as often. I haven't sharpened any yet, so I can't comment on bad wood, broken lead etc. These don't blend as nicely as Prismacolor, but they do blend. Crayola pencil colors aren't as vibrant or rich as Prismacolor. I have to press harder to get more color on the page. However, I always begin coloring with a light pressure & go over it to intensify the color. So far none of the colors I've used have been scratchy. If you've ever used a scratchy colored pencil, you'll understand what I mean. In the attached picture, for the hair, I blended Red Violet topped with Raspberry. I was going for an aubergine shade & almost accomplished it. My phone did not take an accurate color of my picture. The actual color ended up deeper & richer than the photo. (I gave up trying to edit the photo to depict the correct color.) For some reason, I colored the beads first with Tickle Me Pink, when I decided on the color of the elk, not sure what it is, the beads were too light so I went over them with Fiery Rose. That color is showing fairly accurate in the photo. The greens are off slightly too. The pencils don't have numbers, but they do have color names which can be hard to read depending on your lighting. There aren't any metallic colors. I wanted silver for the crown, but used warm gray in its place. I thought I was going to have problems with the flimsy box, but the pencils are packaged in lift out containers, 2 containers hold 36 pencils each, & 2 containers hold 24 each. The containers have a tall side which is designed to be put back in the box with the tall side against the side of the box, storing them this way will make the box stronger. I think I'll label each container with the color names & swatched colors showing the pencils in that box. So far I've had a great experience with this set of 120 colors. Nothing is better than Crayola when it comes to coloring needs. These colored pencils work perfectly whether you’re a small human discovering art for the first time or a full-grown adult “just relaxing” with a coloring book and absolutely no stress whatsoever. The colors are bright, smooth, and dependable. They sharpen well, don’t betray you mid-coloring, and somehow make even questionable artistic decisions look intentional. Whether you’re coloring inside the lines, outside the lines, or completely ignoring the lines because it’s your coping mechanism, these pencils get the job done. Reliable, nostalgic, and quietly therapeutic. A fantastic tool for kids and kids at heart who still believe a good box of colored pencils can fix a day.

木がボロボロ等のレビューがあったので覚悟して購入しましたが、今の所大丈夫です。やはりたまたま悪い質の木が当たる事もあるのだと思いますし、箇所によってかもしれません。 でも36色でこのお値段なので、仕方ないです。 他にももう少しお値打ちの品もあり、さんざん迷いましたが、外国ならでの色合いとのレビューでこちらに決めました。日本製と比較ができないので、独特の色合いについてはよくわかりません。 スタンプやイラストに色塗るために購入しました。大人で全くの素人・初心者です。 筆ペン等色々アマゾンで買いましたが、色が被ったりにじまないはずなのにやはり滲むので、色鉛筆にしてみました。

These pencils are surprisingly good, I thought they would be hard and scratchy but they lay down quite well, creamy and easy to use. Not like Prismacolor of course but they are a good cheaper pencil , with lots of lovely colours. A good starting point for the new beginner or extra set of budget pencils.

Su punta es muy pero muuuuuuuuyyy resistente,también su consistencia es muy cremosa,parecidos a los prisma color,el sacapuntas que incluye no es lo mejor pero está bien para comenzar,creo que estos colores son muy brillante y sus colores son hermosos para el precio que tienen,aunque yo los conseguí a mitad de precio,el precio original sigue siendo bajo para la gran calidad que nos ofrecen con estos lápices de colores

These crayons seem to break every time I sharpen them no matter what type of sharpener I use.
