Pyle 8” in ceiling speaker rocked in my lap
as soon as I got them in my garage I opened the box and unplugged. One of my garage stereo speakers an old pioneer and the stereo has about 50 W per channel holding the speaker in my lap hooked up. They seem to rock pretty good and sound pretty clear I was impressed.

Good quality for the price
I am very pleased with this purchase and this was the second set of this speaker that I bought. I now have a total of 8 speakers, installed in 2 separate ceiling zones. The speakers are very well packaged to protect against shipment damage (double boxed with the outer box taking all the handling scuffing etc.). Product is of a good quality for the price and was very easy to install. The securing screws might sometimes be a bit stiff to tighten in an upside down position, so I suggest you screw them in before installation while on the ground, then slacken them to free up the threaded plastic holes so it will then tighten much easier when you have it in the ceiling. The sound output is also good.

With good amplifier,they sound amazing
I’ve purchased six of these speakers for my client’s big store but we end up using only 4 because they sound so powerful, they are great and of course it depends how powerful is your amplifier, definitely well spend money.Highly recommend.

I'm all about JLw6 and best quality audio - I love these - Cranked up high sound great no distortion - I can't believe the sound
I have been into audio for years and years. Back in the day it was nothing by the best - 3 JL w-6 12's, 2 PPI Amps, best of the best 6x9's going to separate amp - Nothing but the best - MTX and Fosgate were garbage, you couldn't get the sound I was getting from a B-Buy - Had to be the absolute best - I would laugh at Pyle and the thought of poluting my ears with it - Years later (present day) I pulled my old amps out of the closet and made a man cave garage with a 160 inch projector screen, everything - and what the heck I bought these thinking well I'm practically deaf now, whats the difference - Turns out these things can handle what they say - I have them cranked on amps, and another 4 wired to a 2 channel ppi-a600 for guitar/vocal stuff - These things sound better than 2000 dollar home speakers - Very high volume, no distortion , great range (if your not running a separate sub or two your never going to get the correct bass from any speaker - for mids/highs (everything but what a good sub woofer handles) these are perfect - 65 dollar set of speakers that sound better than a 2000 dollar full tower pair I have in house. I highly recommend grabbing these - They install in seconds once you get the holes cut - took 10 mins to cut 2 holes in dry wall and put them in (with template that comes with them) then you turn the screws a bot and they secure to wall or ceiling - these are the best mid range/high range speakers I have ever owned - and I have spent more than most peoples student loans on audio in my life.

Great speakers for the price.
We purchased our house about 6 years ago and previous owners at some point had wired in-wall speakers throughout the house. Outside under the patio roof, they had a couple of Monoprice 8" rounds that had deteriorated. Those are high end speakers generally so I was looking to replace them with a decent quality. These Pyle were just the right price. The sound quality is excellent. I have the treble switch turned on and the clarity is way better than the previous speakers. The size was just a pinch smaller than the old ones that were installed, but it is more the outer flush lip that is smaller, so I'll eventually need to seal it better to make it look better. Very happy, although the Pyle website is posing issues in order to register the product! Nice bass by the way. I have them connected to a speaker switch that's connected to an old Yamaha receiver.

Great sound quality. Pure happiness
These speakers met and keep meeting my expectations. I don’t leave many reviews what so ever. But honestly, these speakers brought a whole new feeling to our home. They project well and make the room “feel alive.” I couldn’t be happier. You don’t have to crank the music or bass to get good music quality out of these speakers. Don’t over stress the speakers. They do just fine being right in the middle. Every single time I play them, my grow a smile, enjoy and relax. Here is tid bit, 90s and 2000s country sound great through these speakers. Don’t hesitate to try them. Using the 650 wattt 6 channel Pyle receiver as well.

Habe sie als Dolby Atmos in die Decke eingebaut. Als Nebenlautsprecher sind sie gut geeignet.

I own high end Polk Audios, Focal and others. I was actually amazed by how good these sounded. Once set up correctly the quality was very good. They are not far off of some of the other brands I have.

After identifying my needs and completing my budget I decided to "value engineer" the 6no ceiling speakers I originally spec'd which were 4x the price of these Pyle's. After reading a good chunk of reviews I decided I had nothing to lose trying these out. I'm not an audiophile or tech snob and I knew I'd have extra £ in the budget for other items required. Well, so glad I took the plunge. The speakers are decently constructed with a bit of heft. I let them burn in over a couple days and slowly started cranking them up. Its been over a month of daily use and I think they sound clear and balanced for my needs at all volume levels. When I run them multiroom without the aid of a sub they thumb enough tight bass for the music to be enjoyable, but will add a localised sub for them in the future. I like how the tweeter is directional and you have the option to adjust the highs. The speakers are low profile enough from the ceiling that they aren't over bearing. A couple things to bear in mind. The dog ear fixings will accept up to 2x12.5mm plasterboard no problem. The issue I had was my old lath and plaster is boarded over with 12.5mm of plasterboard. There was no way the dog ears accepted this build up. What I did was removed the tabs and turn them upside down and this did the trick. Another thing is the sound will transmit up into the room above and it will sound loud and very clear. I didn't want to use ceiling hoods cause frankly they don't look up to the job and I couldn't build an mdf box through a +200mm circular hole. Instead I sprayed fire rated acoustic foam and shaped it to accept the drivers. I have some sound deadening matt I'm gonna stick inside when I get a chance. What I don't like is how the grill attaches and wish it was magnetic. If the cost of adding this feature cost an additional 10 quid the speakers are still affordable I wouldn't hesitate buying them. I wish they would also strengthen the dog ears as they feel a bit cheap and fragile, especially when you have to loosen them up as they arrive tack glued in place.

Fantastic speakers, pay attention to the install instructions and you will have no problems. They mount easy and secure and they look great and come with a nice attractive grill. These sound amazing, you can direct the small cone inside and there is a switch for increasing/decreasing the treble/bass. I used 14 gauge wire had no problem fitting it into the little clips on the back, one black and one red. Well made speakers, got some weight to them, they just feel like quality. I give them a five star rating, they really do sound great and look great and I was able to install them so fast. I put the cardboard template circle on my drill bit, put it up to the ceiling where they were going, drilled a one eighth hole and while the bit was in the hole I pushed the template up the bit to the ceiling, held it there and made a pencil mark around the template. Then I drilled four holes on the inside of the circle (very important not to goof here) one at twelve o'clock, three, six and nine big enough for my jigsaw blade to fit into and then I cut just along the inside of my pencil line. On the one hole I had to use a file in one spot where I didn't take enough off but that was done in about thirty seconds and everything fit perfectly. The 4 mounting screws will take you a while to screw down (Phillips screw driver) as they are long, so be patient. Tools you need, pencil, selection of drill bits, power drill, screw driver and a jigsaw with blades. I recommend safety goggles and a dust mask and depending on your install you may require a wire stripper to prepare your speaker wire before inserting it into the speaker. Have fun.
