The book transports the reader into a beautiful land of fun and fantasy. The book is filled with wit and humour, and subtle life philosophies in places, for example when Sophie not just says something but also "wills it". The book is unstoppable once you start. Read with a lot of tea or coffee, and for added effect, on winter nights!

I was expecting it to be like the movie, cause I saw that first but it was nothing like it, in the best way possible!!! The character backstories, the plot twists, the world building, the storylines all of it was just perfect. I just wish there had been an epilogue of their lives together...

I watched the anime just like everyone then i know that the story was adapted from a novel and its really good it's like movie is howl's pov and book is sophie's pov the story is different then the movie but it is really good it's funny, humorous,lovable characters it's a fun read and also this is my first book this book got me into book reading

I loved the build up. The characters are so beautifully crafted that they stayed on even after the read. Thank you for writing such a lovely fantasy.

The characters personalities are completely different from the movie. So if u dive into this book expecting everything to be cute and magical like the movie , u WOULD be extremely disappointed , just like i was that the beginning.but other than that i thibk u will definitely enjoy it. Expecially when howl and sophie fighting and when howls catches a cold 🤣 he's a drama queen in the book. In the movie howl saved sophie from getting hit on but in the book HOWL is the one hitting on sophie in the starting 🤣 . Just go for it its quite fun to read and u will get a good laugh out of it from time to time

This is such a great book! I personally found Sophie kind of annoying sometimes, but I guess it's normal when you suddenly turn old for no reason at all lmao. I personally really liked Howl as a character and I thought he was really cute and interesting!! I never really hated him tbh. I felt sorta suspicious of the dog man guy (was his name Percival??) because he didn't even have a reason to be in the castle he js randomly spawned and was just.there lol. But I still found all the character really well written ( you too scarecrow ) and loved the whole book sm!! A lot different than the movie but it's alr!! Def recommend!
