Very nice
High quality unit. Not terribly loud being that it's an 8", but it really rounds out an outdoor system. Glad I spend the money on the JBL vs cheaper options.

Rugged, comes with adjustment tools, heavy, adjustable, Florida weatherproof
Superb JBL sound. Do not over-amplify as it could cause distortion and blow these extremely expensive speakers. If you hear distortion, turn the volume down and adjust your amplifier/receiver settings to push out less dB signal. You will find that sweet spot. I’m using Yamaha receiver 150W for these speakers. Stereo direct setting. Crown amp for JBL 2210SB (subwoofer). Dual 10” drivers guaranteed to blow out any competition nearby and phenomenal for bass response. Leave the receiver settings low and use the Crown amp to do the heavy lifting for the subwoofer. You will NOT be disappointed with this setup! Always spring for higher amp output with higher quality equipment. You will thank me in the end. Speaker tilt is outstanding and necessary. Spikes are good but good be longer. Speakers are heavy but they come with adjustment tools. Make sure you have something heavier to prop them up or spike them into. Do not let them get submerged. Very satisfied.

Great outdoor speakers
These are great speakers. They can be very loud and they have great sound distribution. I would say they are as good as my DT6500’s and those are great speakers. They have slightly less highs but more bass, especially outdoors. The only negative up to now is they are very power hungry. I have it connected to a 140W RMS per channel amplifier and it requires 70% of the volume to even start moving them. However by 85% they are almost unbearably loud. They are connected by 12 AWG cable on a 50 ft run which is likely contributing but even directly connected to the amplifier they required a lot of power. I don’t know how these would do on a 70v/100v system as I have not tried this. This will likely improve as they break in but it is something to consider. Especially if choosing between this and the 85m as the smaller cone should require less power. Overall I am very happy with these speakers and they are a great addition to my pool sound system.

Great quality, Great Sound
Sound quality is amazing and easy to install and set up. We purchased 2. Perfect for outdoor parties or low background music.

Works well for low quality sound outdoors in the garden. Not for high volume music
Works well on regular audio amplifier output. Sound is OK, mostly midrange but acceptable for outdoor, garden music. Not for parties or high quality audio. Bass is very limited.

Worth every penny
Deep clear base. Great quality. Runs in business application for 10 hrs a day. Had it over a year and still thumping.

very bad sound quality
if you want to use it for background music ok, but when you increase the volume you will start to feel the distortion especially in the bass, bad quality for music with more beats

Beautiful and great sounding outdoor speakers!!
Great pair of outdoor speakers. Bought open box and they looked pristine!! Very easy to set up and they have a neutral sound. I think my volume is primarily limited by my outdoor amp set up
