Good quality and warmth

Let’s face it, long johns aren’t exactly synonymous with “sexy” so I can forgive that these particular ones are a little tight around the arms and a little loose around the gusset. It is a bit disappointing though that the top and bottom colours don’t even match, but I guess who’s going to be seeing that other than me? They are comfortable and they are warm though, which is sort of the whole point. Probably wouldn’t buy these again as the material is quite thin and suspect will likely fray or tear before too long, but they certainly do the job for the price.

Better than expected

I'm fairly average-sized, and I ordered a Large size, yet the long johns are *really* short on me. I put them on and they are really waggy in the crotch, and if I pull them up so they fit there then the leg ends are half way up my calves. The top fits reasonably well, if ever so slightly loose. I'm not particularly impressed by the warmth of these. The packaging talks about "Extra thick", "Extra warmth", "Warmth rating: very warm", "Brushed for extra warmth", "Incorporating heat trap technology", "nearly double the cold resistance than normal Long Johns", "Feel the warmth". I don't usually wear thermal underwear so I put these on in addition to my normal layers, expecting to roast, and I feel... maybe just slightly warmer than usual? The material they are made of is fairly thin (they say "extra thick" on the packaging). It has quite a cool feel to it. I'm wearing these under jeans, with a T-shirt and checked shirt over the top, and I'm indoors right now (in November), and I'm just about OK. So overall, the sizing seems completely wrong for the long johns part of these, and they only add a small extra level of warmth to your normal clothes. They were relatively cheap, though.

Great really snug

Avoid Bought this set for my son, the first time he wore them all the seams split under the crutch. It wasn’t because they were too tight as I actually bought a size larger for him to make sure he had flexibility as he works on a building site. Rang Amazon for a refund, who insisted it needed to be returned despite the fact I explained it was unsafe to return this product as he’s working with drains and sewage pipes. Very, very poor quality and even poorer customer services.

Love these Long Johns . Very comfy and great value for money . I would suggest that you go for a size bigger than you normally take.

Ordered medium, received XXL bottoms and medium top, although the top seems way smaller and the bottoms seem to be right so no idea what theyre sizing guide is about. Otherwise, not particularly thermal, just seem like normal leggings and undershirt.
