Vibrant Performance 1792 Bottle Style Resonator

Order arrived a lot earlier than i expected. Thank you. This resonator works just as intended and better than expected. Eliminates that nasty drone and dramatic deep pulsing coming from a straight pipe. Dampens the noise level too and makes it bearable still being plenty loud. When i get on it, it sounds super sweet to the ears and not earsplitting like it did before. it provides a sweet sweet sound 3k- 4200k on the 3.6 pentastar engine. I installed a Precut 2.5 inch diameter DPW EVO remote exhaust cutout on my 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan R/T and it would only fit right in front of the first resonator. I want to keep the stock setup on my van to also be quiet when i want it so i didn't change anything else. I added. At first the sound that came out of the exhaust cutout was both insanely loud and unbearable. These vans come stock with two resonators and a muffler. one in the front and one in the very back where the exhaust tip is coming out of and then there is a giant muffler near the end and in between. I ordered this Vibrant Resonator and it was like the perfect combo. Now this resonator fit perfectly in front of the cutout with a little adjusting. So there are a total of 3 resonators and a muffler. If someone is going to order an exhuast cutout like i did please use it with an aftermarket resonator like this one. It will be music to your ears. I am not an expert however i have done plenty of exhausts on my cars to know what sounds nice and what doesn't. In most applications straight pipes will almost always sound like a wet diarrhea dog taco fart on taco Tuesday. This resonator is the perfect one if you want that really nice sound. It will clean that nasty sound out and make it just right and make the sound not overbearing. Gentleman if you want something stupid loud take your resonator off. If you want something nice sounding use this resonator in combination with an aftermarket muffler or cutout. My preference is to be able to clean and dampen the exhaust and noise up. I don't think adding a 3 resonator is hurting the performance and deepened the stock noise just enough to notice. Didn't notice anything crazy happening. It now sounds like a bunch or harmonic bees instead of a washed out drunk bee colony.

I have a 23 Nissan Titan with the 5.6 V8 engine and put on a Flowmaster super 44 in 2024. Had a secondary cat delete in 2025 which caused some clapping and in then added an x pipe to fix it, which it did but it also acted like a muffler. Wanted it louder without getting to much rasp which is why I didn't go with the super 10s and just replaced the Flowmaster super 44 with vibrant resonators and it sounds amazing. It did bring some of the clap sound back but now it really crackles in the middle rpms while keeping the rasp down. Not crazy about the clap but definitely like the crackle and which before it just clapped in the middle rpms with no desirable tone or crackle.

Awesome resonator. Replaced the mid mufflers on my 5.7 Eagle, and these sound amazing. Aggressive smooth tone with no rasp. Would buy again. Hopefully, these last forever.

For reference, I have a 25 elantra n line with a Sxth element axle back, this quiets down the outside noise by like 25-30%, atleast on city driving, maybe even a bit more. As far as inside noise, it quiets down like 90% of the frequency that I most hate, which fart can raspiness lol. So this resonator mostly changes how it sounds inside the car, and makes it not sound like a fart can from the outside. I installed it by marking an aproximate size of the resonator, but that the tubing goes INSIDE of the resonator so that I could clamp it instead of welding it. I have 2.5 inch tubing on my car, this resonator being made to fit on 2.5 tubing, fits Tightly OVER 2.5 inch exhaust tubing. Use some sealant like copper exhaust gasket maker before putting it on, or jb weld sealer. Honestly its a great resonator for how small, and straight through it is made. Bang for your buck. If you dont have a muffler, and are currently straight piped, I wouldnt expect this to work for you, get an ultra quiet resonator atleast, or one of those huge magnaflow mufflers. Picture attached if when I was putting silicone to seal the edges of the clamps from the outside just incase.

Good quality, I paired these up on my mustang that has cat delete long tube headers, xpipe and borla ATAK mufflers and the sound is awesome !! The borla ATAK are an aggressive muffler and alone they sound great but just a bit too loud these resonators toned it down just enough to where it’s not obnoxious but still sounds mean AF., if you have something similar I’d recommend this if your trying to tone it down a bit

1,000% worth it. My Maxima has been rockin this puppy for ages now and she still sounds like a queen.

It helped tone down the drone and raspiness of my 2015 mustang gt with long tube headers, x pipe and roush cat back. It makes driving below 3500 rpm more enjoyable and doesn't affect performance. When i step on the gas and the car comes alive. The ideal place to install it is upstream.

I got 2 for my 2010 F150 with the 5.4 3v and I absolutely love it with the shorty tube headers with true dual. It’s quiet when needed and loud but smooth when needed.
