I wish they had the problem worked out step by step, but they didn't. You have to know what you're doing or read the chapter thoroughly to follow suggestions from the teacher. They have a few works out, so there are great examples. The book does have a lot of what should be covered in High school algebra so the kids can have a solid foundation for advanced math later on. Great text book for Algebra
