So glad I found this product on Amazon. We were having a lot of sewage spillage from our back yard pipe and knew it would be costly to have someone look at. Took a chance and tried this out and after using it for a few months our issue has been resolved. We have 2 toilets and once we figured out which one was probably causing the problem, we flushed 1 pack as instructed down and noticed there was no more spillage it the back yard shortly after we did that. Worth a try and I hope it clears up the issue for you!

Why did you pick this product vs others?: fine for regular maintenance, but not enough to fix an actual issue. It didn't hurt or make anything worse though

Yup, Fish safe! I have a 1000 gallon above ground "pond" set up in my backyard under a VERY trashy Willow Tree. My tanks, over time, had collected a 4-8" deep muck/sludge/goo/decomposition layer at the bottom. I used every beneficial bacteria I could find to try to non-mechanically remove this gunk, and to no avail. A friend has a 50,000 gallon in-ground pond completely encircled by Washingtonia Robustas (Mexican Fan Palms) which constantly drop large vegetation (fronds) into his pond. He raises Koi fish. I asked him one day how he keeps such a clean pond without removing any vegetation by hand, he SHOWED me the bag of Rid X brand septic tank cleaner he uses. I chickened out and bought this product. Seemed to be more fish friendly. My fish: Koi, Gambuisa, Guppies, Gouramis, Goldfish all didn't bat an eye at this product. I dissolved one of these pouches into a 5 gallon bucket, using a water hose, then poured it in equally around the edges of my tanks. 30 days later and the bottoms are clean as a whistle. Additionally, algae is gone and snails are breeding like crazy

This stuff is great, I have been using it for years! Use to get it from the company in my town. Then they moved. I finally located it again. I would not use anything else. My septic man said," I don't know what you have been using in your septic tank but keep on. It works!!" Yes it works and is easy to use. We will keep on getting it and using it!
