Ice Pod Underwater Camera Positioner

Very nice product and works great.

Mine came with cord and adjuster threaded through the legs. I'm not sure what it's for and I couldn't find any mention of it on Aqua-Vu's website.Based on other reviews that I read about loosing the ball and the camera cable slot being too loose, I made some modifications. I drilled small hole in the back leg and threaded some braided tip up line through the hole and tried it to the ball. I also threaded a small clip on the line to be used as a stop for the camera cable.I haven't tried this on the ice yet but it seems ok to hold my Eyoyo camera. I deduced one star because of the modifications that I felt was needed so that I wouldn't loose the ball.

I "assumed" the little black piece to turn the cable would FLOAT since it was made for ice fishing. NOPE! First time out the piece fell in the hole and dropped to the bottom of the lake like a brick! I called Aqua View and after we had a good laugh she said she would send me a new one n/c. Lesson learned! It is a great tripod and I love having control of my camera. My camera has a smaller cord so I did have to put a rubber band around the stopper to tighten it around the small cord. I love that Aqua View stood behind their product.

The rubber piece on top can easily fall off and go down the hole. It does NOT float! This unit is very cheaply made. Should be $9.99 at most and then it would be worth it. I am able to position the camera better so that's nice.

Better off making your own stand out of wood. Very cheap. Clip that is provided is useless.

Good unit. The rubber clip system that holds the wire also makes it very easy to rotate the camera so it is pointed precisely where you want it.

We ordered this because we were borrowing a friend's tripod and we dropped the top into the hole and couldn't recover it. We like the item, but be aware that the top is not attached and may fall in. Now that we know this, it won't be a problem. but it should be improved so this couldn't happen in the first place.

Compact and easy to use. The clip for the cable could be a bit better for the price, otherwise really decent tripod.

This tripod works like a hot damn. It was such a pain to get the camera angled just so without it. What a difference! This thing gives you complete control over your camera line so you can easily swivel your camera with the round rubber piece that sites on top of the tripod. It's cheap plastic so be careful, but it works GREAT!!!

The sender is great. Got the product quickly.The stand itself is cheap plastic and seems overpriced, but does a good job of holding the camera wire and allowing me to spin the camera as needed. So as there are not many options for this item, it is worth the money and helps see the fish... If the low quality is ok, then I recommend fully. 😎

Bought it along with an underwater camera. Both worked great together and we are happy with the purchase

Terrible and fragile system for keeping camera still. Buy something else.

Nothing floats hope you don't loose a piece like I did.
