OOTB Wheel Wall Clock with 16 LED, Multi-Colour, 8 x 35 x 35 cm

Great Wall clock for my son's car themed bedroom. The backlight looks superb but it's a little too bright at night. That said, it makes a decent night light just as long as it's positioned well on the wall, not too close to the bed. You can, of course, turn the light off using a switch on the back. The clock really does look magnificent and it keeps good time.

Bought for an 11 year old, will go perfectly in his new bedroom as he loves cars. The spanner and screw driver clock hands are brilliant, and the blue lights add an extra wow factor, they can be switched on and off whenever you like. Overall very happy with price paid and quality of the product.

Ok gimmic in workshop, but hard to read without face illuminated

I bought this clock for my Man Cave - a converted garage. The clock part needs one AA battery and the blue back light needs three AA batteries and the switch to turn the light on and off is inconveniently on the back of the clock so to switch the light on and off you would need to take the clock down and then put it back. However ! Not mentioned in the product description is that the blue light can be powered by an external transformer. The specification for the transformer is in the information provided with the clock. I went into my local Maplins and asked their advice for a 4.5 volt 500mA transformer and they recommended the "Multi Voltage AC Adaptor". This unit has a choice of six output voltages and 8 different power tips. The clock has is centre positive - there is a diagram on the clock mechanism and the Multi Voltage AC Adaptor box has instructions as to how to align the selected power tip to be centre positive. The Maplin produce code is XX09K, it cost me £13.99. I can now have the switch on the clock set to 'on' and use the switch on the mains power socket to turn the light on and off. The blue back light does look cool. The wheel clock looks great whether the light is on or off! A great addition to anyone's Man Cave !

Clock stopped working correctly after a month but no response from customer service.

Bought as a gift for use in a garage. Looks good and works well. The neon is tricky as you don't want it on all the time as that would drain the batteries. To turn it on and off you have to take the clock down. It looks really good and adds a nice touch to a garage, or any room you choose to use it in.

It ticks very loudly but it was a good gift and far more impressive than our own
