Love at first sight!
I got the titanium concert strings. They are so pretty though! And they feel great too. A lovely clear purple that has a glass-like texture that your fingers just glide on. The picture doesn’t do it justice. I’ve been exploring different string and I love the way these look and sound! They have a nice crisp and bright sound that is very appealing. They are also great at staying and tune (this could be the ukulele…) and durable too! If you are like me and have a habit of forgetting to change strings or being too lazy to do so, these work great.

more like a steel gray
Really neat set of strings. To the few illiterates that gave 1-star reviews because these "aren't metal"...it's titanium FIBERS in the strings. You cannot string a uke with steel strings...it would hurt your fingers and break the instrument. Just read the item description! I've only played on nylon strings (both clear and black, for whatever difference that might make) so I wanted to try something else out. These piqued my interest. I wouldn't call them "purple" as the description does...more like a steel gray, but still transparent. Not a bright color, if anyone was concerned. The sound is lovely. Very present, bright, and no buzzing or the like (which I found with the nyltech's "punchy" sound) with a clean fall-off. Super long strings, too...if you're like me and have a tough time tying those end knots, you've got lots of leeway! It was an extra 5-6" I cut off at the end. All-in-all a unique and beautiful set of strings. Sounds great!

Stiff and see-through. Very punchy
These strings are packaged well, and they sound good too. The sound is definitely brighter than gut-like string. On first use, the "titanium" nylon strings definitely are leaning toward the feel and and sound of a steel string. I am wondering if they will mellow out a bit after stretching. Depending on the tonal nature of your instrument, the sound could get a bit too punchy. As for the feel, the smooth and glassy material is a definite upgrade over the texture of the strings that came on my Kala baritone uke. My fingers can glide over these strings without any stickiness or roughness. I'm ducking these a star based on usability issues when putting them on. They are so stiff that I needed to use a small set of pliers to pull them up over the bridge, as they were just stabbing the wood instead of flexing and gliding up over it. Additionally, the insanely clear material made it difficult to tie them the end of the bridge, as the ends and edges of the strings became practically invisible against the dark materials of my instrument. On that note: if aesthetics matter to you, the nylon strings can actually look invisible, depending on lighting conditions. It is a weird effect if you're not used to it or expecting it. I'll keep using these for now, but I'm not sure they will become a favorite.

Hold up well and sound good
I put these on my uke when the winding on one string came undone. They have been on almost 1 year, still sound good and have held up well. I would buy again.

The D string broke on stringing up my ukulele
Update: I was contacted by D'Addario the day after I wrote my initial review and was absolutely taken care of by George in customer service After I received a new set of strings and stretched them in, I must say I'm impressed they have good presence, tone and are comfortable on my fingers to play Okay I was all excited about trying these D'Addario Titanium strings on my new Kala KA-B baritone ukulele. I put them on and was just stretching them in and the D string broke, right in the middle (very odd) I Didn't even get one song on them. I am a long time guitar technician and know my way around changing strings and many other things. I did email D'Addario and hoping they just send another set. I was going to review them here and on my YouTube channel but now I'm not so sure I hope D'Addario comes through and they work out, because I'm certainly not going to buy another set of these, unless they do

They are fine, but not what I needed and that was my fault, I do use this type, just another one

Beautiful sound from these strings, warm and rich. The G string broke in half after about one week, but they kindly sent replacements.

Tried a couple of brands of strings for my baritone uke. To be honest, many are repackaged concert uke strings however these have an excellent tone for the tuning of the Baritone and seem to have good endurance. Highly recommend for the price.

Sounds amazing, Installed them on my baritone a while ago, it was a hassle but worth it. They look amazing, sustain the note well and barely buzz, having a clear and rich tone. These seem to be hella durable, as when I installed them at first the titanium ripped my bridge off, so I just glued it back and it was fine, just a quality issue with my ukulele, but just watch out if you're installing these. They look fine too, the titanium is a nice solid shine and the fleurocarbon strings are a dark purple-ish colour that sometimes doesn't even show on photos. Holds tuning well, especially the titanium strings, would recommend for anyone trying to get a deeper tone out of their ukulele.
