I misread the product features and thought this was without the automatic off function. It is 6 hours then it shuts itself off. I am not complaining as it is my fault more missing that detail. Now for the review. Today is Nov 25, 2024 The heater is built very nicely. Excellent quality. The fabric is really soft and nice feeling on the skin. It's not that annoying microfiber either. Rather it's a velvety smooth feeling. The size I got is the larger size. But note that the area that heats isn't as large as the entire material. I imagine the larger option has a larger center area heating coil. Super easy to use. Press the on / off button once for high heat and it's RED. Press again it turns BLUE for medium warm. Press again for WHITE for low heat. Pressing once more shuts it off. To turn off at any point just press and hold the button for about 5 seconds. Good value for the money. This runs off of any portable power bank for USB A connections. Or a 5v 2A wall wart or USB power supply. It does warm up very nicely on high heat. I will be keeping this as I can use it or my sweetheart can as an extra heating pad. This doesn't mean I had an issue with this heating pad. Just trying to prevent a possible issue. I used some 3M extreme duty duct tape to stabilize the area the cord connects to the pad. While this one is pretty well made, the one spot to be weakest is the connection between the cable and heating pad. To keep the cable from bending as much I placed a 10 inch by half width piece of duct tape at an angle to each side of the cable. Think of trying to keep a pole from tipping over. Then I used a piece to cover the ends on the fabric. Then another to secure the the ends of the last piece that wrapped around front to back covering the diagonal piece ends. I have 2 images to show the finished reinforcement. This is my first time with this brand and particular heating pad. Other than the auto shut off. I do recommend this heating pad.

Our cat isn't very fond of this and avoided it like the plague, but i actually bought it for myself as a small heating pad and it works great for cramps, it gets really warm and does its purpose, I really like it better than the other huge heating pads that is bigger than the area I'm targeting

auto-constant NOT auto-off I bought this as a substitute for my lap. I pull up a chair next to me and put this heated pad on it for my old cat to sit on while I work. The cord is not very long but is sufficient for my need. The temperature is good. My only regret is that it is not an auto-off heating pad. That's my bad for skimming over the details too quickly. The pad is bumpy but heats well.

It’s great that there is no power switch nor heat level adjustment. Here’s why: there are no switch or dial components that a dog might chew on and break, nor can it accidentally be switched to a high heat or turned on or off by the pet. The pad never gets too hot. It’s nice and warm. The pad is relatively flexible and the cover is soft and washable. It shouldn’t be, and doesn’t need to be, covered with blankets. If the room is really cold in the morning, sometimes I’ll cover the dog loosely with a light blanket to form sort of a tent. It holds a little extra heat around the rest of her body. If I’ll be gone from home for awhile, I plug it into a smart plug. I could theoretically shut it off remotely from my phone if needed. I can’t recall actually ever doing that, but just in case the option is there: My dog just got new roommates and everyone understandably wants a spot on the pad, so I just ordered the larger size. Our dog has absolutely loved the smaller pad from the first day she got it almost 2 years ago. It still works like new and the only thing that looks a little used is the pad cover. It’s held up well but it’s been washed dozens of times at this point so it’s faded a touch. No holes or worn threads though. I’m super happy with this pad and more importantly so is the dog. She loves it so much and so do her new roommates that I wish it was standard equipment for pet owners to have them.

It was the perfect Christmas gift.., easily washable cover, a chew-resistant cord, and steady warmth. What could possibly go wrong? She may look innocent… but these pics tell the story. Honestly don’t know how her teeth survived the industrial-strength casing.

I foster regularly and need a heat source for the neonatal kittens who can't regulate their temperature. I have also used this for expectant mama kitties and my Mom's very senior pup. It has a gentle warmth (don't put too much bedding on top), but just enough to provide comfort and warmth. Chew proof cord is essential! As well as the machine washable cover. May need to get another!

I just got a second one for my kitties for Christmas because they were fighting over the first one I got last year. They love it and sleep on it all the time in the winter. I have had the first one for a year now and after daily use it is still working great.

This mat is very warm and my cats love it. I ordered another one to give as a gift for my mother’s cat.

This product is great. Took it out of the box plugged it in few minutes later Kobe the cat claimed it. But too bad for Kobe I bought this for our feral cat that I have been looking after, temperature going to drop to -18 tomorrow. It’s perfect size for small- med or fat cat fits whole body my current heating pad is small and uncomfortable. I also like it seems to give just perfect amount of heat (not too hot or not hot enough). I am happy & Hobo I am sure will approve it too.

Product arrived on time. Appears to work well. I have it in the barn for a feral cat and he seems to spend a bit of time on it when it is cold.
