This stain and water repellent spray worked like a charm! My 2-year-old granddaughter hugged me with her spaghetti-covered hands, and I was amazed to see my vest clean up with no stains left behind. Water beaded up immediately after applying the spray, and nothing soaked in. It’s also non-toxic, eco-friendly, and pet-safe, which is a huge plus. The application process was simple — just spray and let it dry. There’s no chemical smell, and the protection is effective right away. I’ll definitely be ordering more of this product. I bought this to protect some new dining room chairs that were light in color. One bottle was plenty to spray 8 chair seats (2 coats). The first spray came out as a spurt but the rest of the spray was a fine mist. It would have been much easier to evenly apply if it had been aerosol, and easier on the hands too! There was no odor, and no change in fabric color. It did take a few hours to dry and I eventually got out my hair dryer to speed up the process. I checked the next day and poured a bit of water on the chairs. It literally beaded up and rolled off the chairs. No one has spilled anything of color on the chairs so I can’t speak to how well it will protect against red wine, coffee, spaghetti sauce, etc. But since it did such a great job of repelling liquid, I assume it will offer at least some protection.

UPDATE: Company backed its product and is sending me a new bottle. Nothing better than a company that backs its products and supports its customers. By the time I was set to use I found the spray bottle broken/didn’t work/won’t stay.. tried multiple times and ways… including to use warm water with no luck. Also can’t get bottle spray top to screw off to put into a different spray bottle

I applied RepelWell Apparel Protect Stain & Water Repellent Spray twice on several shirts, waiting a full day between applications. After allowing it to cure, I simulated light rain with a gentle shower the next day. Some dampness still soaked through to the other side of the fabric—less effective than some older, less eco-friendly sprays I’ve tried. Maybe an application from the inside of the shirt could help? Even so, I think it deserves four stars for being gentle on skin and environmentally safe while still offering a decent level of protection based on the two applications.

I got this spray for my white velvet couch, and at first I was worried that it was going to change the color or texture, but it didn’t at all! I sprayed the couch down twice, and it works SOOOO well! Liquids trickle right off and the couch does not get or stay wet at all.

this only works once to protect the couch from water or liquids but it eventually wears off and the couch is back to getting dirty. It didn’t last very long and i didn’t find it worth it to keep buying more and spraying when the couch was still getting dirty. I ended up just buying seat covers that i could wash easily.

Used the entire bottle on my cotton/bamboo bedding and full disclosure, I had treated this same bedding using ProtectMe: a different brand that advertises the same claims as this one. The water slightly beaded but I’m unsure if it’s because by this point it’s nearly 3 layers and two full bottles of different products, or if this product does work better than the other. The problem? Water still soaks through. I’m not sure if my bedding is a special fabric that makes it harder to treat or if this product doesn’t work well, but for the amount of product that is needed to treat just the top of my bedding (I didn’t even try the other side), I’m kind of tired of trying. This feels very expensive for a possibly temporary solution. Positive: this came with a safety seal unlike the ProtectMe spray. The bottle was easy to use, and I didn’t notice any damage to my fabric. I’m unsure if I’ll purchase again.

Great product. It worked for me. My furniture is beige and I was worried to get it stained by the product itself but its color and odorless. It dried completely in less than an hour. If you get any stain you can just remove it with a damp cloth or paper towel.

I’ve sprayed my shearling boots, according to the instructions on the bottle), and I’m amazed at how well water, snow and ice are repelled. No salt stains either. Note I always clean the salt off my boots immediately, so little chance of the the salt ruining my footwear. Highly recommend this product.

Amazing product

I have used this on my dinning room chairs that are made out of really nice fabric and I am really impressed at how well it has worked! I followed the instructions (spray twice, 30mins apart, and let cure for 24hrs) and then tested it by pouring water all over them. The water rolls right off the fabric like it's a raincoat. Incredible! I have just ordered a second bottle to cover my new sofa and baby stroller/car seat. Cannot recommend this enough.
