17pc Stainless Steel Cookware Set

First off, this waterless set came nicely packaged in 2 layers of cardboard boxes. Quality is very apparent with the well-made lids, handles, stainless steel body. It's a truly beautiful set! The bottom is very thick (that's a good thing!). Just a note: these are the ones without the steam valves/thermometer. They come with plain knobs, but for me, that was actually a plus. These will probably last longer than the fancy steam valves because there are no moving parts. The only difference in use is that instead of listening for a whistle or looking at the temperature, you just look for steam coming out the lid/lid fluttering. It's really not harder at all. In fact, chances are you are still in the kitchen when the lid starts to flutter (and therefore you can turn the heat down)...it only takes minutes before it steams...AND there's one less step. Here's why: I have a nice 16 quart steam-valve lidded stock pot from a different brand, and I have to close the steam valve in addition to turning the heat down. It's not that much more effort, but I can save a step, wash my lid without worrying about the valve, it should last longer, AND it's cheaper to buy the plain lid! I highly recommend this set. The way it's described on the amazon page, I actually think it's under-advertised! =) I have not tried stacking it or using the poaching cups, but I'm excited to try! This one comes with a little booklet of simple recipes. I wish it had more as these recipes are harder to find online. But other than that, I think it's a great way to get into waterless cooking and I wouldn't be surprised if I were still using these a few decades later! =)

These pans are extra nice. I have been cooking with stainless steel waterless cookware since 1968, so I haven't had any problem getting used to them. I thought it was time for a new set. These are heavier than my old ones. The price is excellent.

I am very pleased with the quality of this set for the price, but very disappointed that I did not receive the egg cups, as that particular feature was why I chose this set. **Update** Seller was very prompt with a reply and is contacting the manufacturer about the egg cups. Other than that the set is absolutely wonderful and a great value. Highly recommended. Will change to five stars when I get the cups.

I bought this set just over a year ago for my daughter. I've had a set of waterless cookware for over 30 years. That's why I wanted to give her waterless cookware. But this won't last 30 years - it didn't last one year. The handles on the pans are loose and there is no way to tighten them. I pulled the knob off one of the lids and there is no way to repair that because it is spot welded on, not screwed on. I do not recommend this set. The pans work, but if you can't put a lid on, or hold the pan, what good are they?

Cookware performs very well at med-low temperatures. Food does not stick and cleans easily. Salt deposits inside, bottom of cookware cleans using a citric acid cleaner and the cookware recovers its initial shine. Outside the shine remains unaltered.

Great set, however I can't seem to get the skillet as clean and shiney after use. Still cooks great though! The food tasted amazing! Wish there were more recipes that come with the set but thank goodness we have the internet!

I bought they pot for my wife's B'day and they are nice and heavy duty but it takes a little bit to get use to them you need to cook a little different with them not so high of heat. Mark

The cookware is just beautiful! It is obviously made of quality material. It heats up so fast and cooks very evenly. One thing though. We gave it as a wedding gift, and it arrived three days later that the date it was supposed to be here. That is the only thing we were dissatisfied with.
